A handy set ..
Adequate for most non-Hams working on the 2.4Ghz ISM bands which are limited to 30 dBi (1 watt) here in the U.S. It's a handy set to complement my electronic attenuator, and a necessity if you are working with an SA or VNA. These are 50 ohm SMA devices, so it you are working satellite stuff, you may need 75 ohm "F-type" anttenuators. Fairly priced and looks to be nice build quality, I'll give them 5 stars, and update if I find any significant discrepancies. Cheers!

Excellent range of low power attenuators for adjustment for a device input
These provide 1 to 42dB of attenuation in 1dB steps. Note that they are are limited to 2W power but putting them in-line AFTER something like a 40dB or 30dB, 50 Ohm,100W attenuator allows them to provide 1dB adjustments across a huge range making the combination perfect for adjusting something like the output from a 50W or 100W amateur radio to a range useful as the input for a receiver, spectrum analyzer or oscilloscope without damaging it. Note, some suitable combination of these goes AFTER another purchased big, high power attenuator when hooking many transmitter outputs to a device like a receivdr or spectrum analyzer. These just provide the ability to use a set that adjusts the final power after a high power attenuator to a good level for the input and are well worth the investment alongside a large, high power attenuator when using something like a desktop amateur radio with something like a tinySA spectrum analyzer. I bought two of these Nooelec Attenuator Kits because I also have 3x 100W attenuators (40dB, 30dB, 20dB) and 3x 10W attenuators (30dB, 20dB, 10dB) and can take one or two of my 100W or 5-9W ham rigs and plug them in comfortably to other devices like a receiver or spectrum analyzer using these for 1dB resolution input power tuning while testing.

Good well past 9GHz
Measured on my VNA, these provide relatively flat attenuation from 10khz past 9GHz (my VNA's BW limit), not 3G like the listing states. S11 and S22 are also below 20dB over the whole range. Excellent frequency response for such a cheap attenuator! 10dB screenshot attached as an example.

Invaluable on the test bench
Great for RF prototyping and protecting the input to your spectrum analyzer. One end male, other end female for easy "stacking".

Always protect your devices
I always place an attenuator in place before connecting my measuring equipment in place. You never know what might happen and you want to ensure you don't damage your equipment.

Military grade construction
I was impressed with the build. I have not tested the accuracy of the attenuators. For those who use SMA connected devices, this seems to be the perfect solution to add attenuation without clumsy adapters to match to different types. I bought these for my Tiny Spectrum Analyzer.

love Nooelec products
Playing with low power HF and needed attenuation to reduce 200 mW to lower power. These are perfect and give me a way to try different combos for downward steps. Good quality

Perfect fit
We use these for situations where there is too much output power and bi-directional amplifiers cause interference. Make sure you know the type of connections your amp has, some are N-connectors not SMA. Anyways, these work great!
