Real Estate Exam Flash Cards (Barron's Test Prep)

Awesome For On The Go Studying
I’m 24 and I am preparing for the Tennessee real estate exam. I have enrolled with Real Estate Express! My stepmother actually just took the Florida real estate exam and failed it. I am taking every precaution and I am going to study study! Flash cards are a great memory tool. These are separated into categories which I have included in the photos and come in a very nice and sturdy carrying case. They even include a book ring that you can put your cards on to carry around and study with you! They suggest to carry 25 cards on you at all times to study during your lunch and commute which is honestly a great idea. My only complaint is the cards are a little flimsy, they feel like a thick textbook paper rather than an actual flash card which is like cardstock. 9/10

Older but still Golden
Let's go ahead and state the obvious - they aren't "up-to-date" cards, however, they're still worth buying! The content is really good and mostly still accurate, I think Barrons would do itself well to update them soon and im sure they will at some point. Most of the vocabulary and definitions are the same, they also keep the cards "neutral" and tell you to reference your states TREC website for more accurate answers. They've given you a general overview of national real estate laws and practices, if you want more specific details for YOUR particular state, reference your course work or get a book that's specific to where you are! Simple. The cards themselves are very nice and laminated, they are but thinned out but my no means will they water if you bend them. Key ring comes taped in a nice littleBox at then end and the cards themselves go up to 479 or 489 or something so it doesn't end evenly. If that's throwing you off, you have bugger problems that need to be addressed. For $15 (at the time I bought them) they are a great little buy and worth keeping around even after you passed your exams etc!Again these cards are 5 years old and a lot of things have changed especially in 2020 but its up to you to keep up with those changes if you plan on being an agent, it's your fiduciary duty! :)

Not so good for California
I wish they had them just for California - laws in different states are different

I took the online Kaplan course while on a deployment ...
I took the online Kaplan course while on a deployment in Afghanistan. Then completely forgot that I had completed the required hours. Not wanting them to expire nearly 2 years later. I bought this along with a course book and blank exams, for a week long cram fest. And still managed to pass.

Perfect and allows study on the go
Perfect-exactly what I needed. Not state specific but some cards allow you to add state specific info, like the cost of renewals, on a card. Love it came with a ring to hold multiple cards (and it is huge!) By the way, you can purchase additional rings at any craft store-under $3.

A great quick study assist for the National Real Estate Exam
These really helped me pass the National section of the Oregon Real Estate license. They are durable, organized, and have a handy key ring for taking them along - very portable. Easy to carry around and pull them out for quick study when standing in lines, having coffee, waiting in the dentist office... but remember:There are no math problems or formulas. These do not cover state specific sections.Highly recommended!

Ok to read over...
I gave it a three stars because I was ok with reading the cards but I didn't really need them yet I like to sit and read them when I'm not doing anything. Some cards I can review just to know a different definition. I didn't need them for the exam. If you want flash cards make your own definitions with your knowledge and explanation of the word. You can get some ideas from these flashcards. It is not easy to find a card if you are looking for an exact word. If you want that just buy a dictionary. These cards are categorized. Don't take my word either just my personal experience and yes I own a real estate dictionary and a lot of real estate books so I wouldn't rely only on these cards to studying for any exam.

Five Stars!!!
These flashcards are s saving grace. Before you pay a boat load of money in a cram session I highly recommend you buy these cards.I passed my RE Exam on the first try with the help of these well laid out cards that are easy to understand and digest. The principles given do a bang up job of prepping you for the test if you are willing to put in the time and discipline yourself to actually do the work.
