The book was very good but there was some editing mistakes with the word in the book. But you could still understand what was going on.

My 3rd grader LOVES this series, he usually reads graphic novels and this is a happy medium between text and illustrations.

My son is 10 and does not enjoy reading but he LOVES these books! He reads them voluntarily! Great series!

My kids are really enjoying this series, which seems somewhat more redeeming than the wimpy kid series. But maybe that's just because of the endearing britishisms.

Another great Tom Gates book to keep the kids entertained. These books are attractive to look at (just look at that front cover) and easy to read. My son find them hilarious and is often laughing out loud at them.I think we've pretty much gathered the entire set of these now and my son has read them all, this one included, on more than one occasion. A guaranteed good read for kids and once they've picked it up they won't be able to put it down.

My 7 year old son struggled to read a book, unless I bribed him. However this has all changed since we were introduced to the World of Tom Gates. All I can say "Thankyou to Liz Pichon" these books have changed my sons view to reading. In just over a month we have read nearly the whole set, yes it has cost me a small fortune but I don't care, my son is reading. Since reading these books he is now trying other books, he is a changed boy!

Brilliant ideas is a great book because like any tom gates book it is easy to read and has a lot of pictures. I think this book very funnny and my fav part is when Marcus follows a line that Tom writes and at te end it says " You are a idiot, haha!" and really recommend this book to fans of Tom Gates

I think this is an amazing book especially the end I think the funniest bit was when the teachers put together a band called you3 ! Definitely worth 5 stars and for children 7+ also people who like laugh out loud books.

We're on to book 4. Grandson loves the series and putting them on my kindle,he can read them whenever he likes.Super books seem to produce some giggles,tucked up on the sofa.How many eight year olds come in from school and get stuck into reading. I certainly didn't!!! We will continue with the others in the series, along with nana and grandpa's old books.
