Great scissors to help preschoolers develop and practice cutting skills. Has improved the ability to control hand movement with my three year old class.

I got these to use in the preschool class I teach. I spend my own money so I was happy about the reasonable price. They are great for helping my young 3-year-olds manage the “open” part of “open/close” while cutting. I hope to use them for the first part of the year and be able to do away with the opener by the end of the year. I’ve gotten my finger stuck in the blade area while correcting a child’s grip and it didn’t hurt, yet they cut right through paper. I appreciate that they are safe in that way. I left off one star because one of the 6 is very tight and doesn’t line up with the little opener tab so it is no good for me. Thankfully I don’t have more than 5 kids cutting at once, but it does concern my that the durability will not last over time. Since getting these scissors I have made more progress with teaching my kids to cut than I have in the past because they are easy to use.

Great for kids learning to cut, easy to use and my kids love the color options!

Love these for all ages! More parents need to start with these.

I bought the plastic edge ones and they didn't work out so well but I noticed these have the same design but with metal edges. My preschoolers have an easier time cutting with these, though they still get hung up on the paper at times. I will use them myself if they are closer then my actual scissors.

I wrote a long review on a piece of paper that I planned to transcribe here… but I got so excited by the ability of these scissors to cut, that I cut it to ribbon and had to post this review instead.
