Oileus Super Big Canopy Tent with Sand Bags - Easy up Beach Tent Sun Shelter and Lightweight Sun Shade

So I never write reviews, but I felt I needed to because of the one single, but major problem I ran into. VERY easily solved, but without knowing about it, you'll pull your hair out trying to get this canopy put up. The instructions are.... ummm... OK I guess. Could be better. OK, ON TO THE ISSUE!!!!! After unpacking, you will notice all the points of the shade have black webbing sowed to each one. You'll also notice, all of those webbings are SEWN TO EACH OTHER VERY CLOSE TO THE POINTS. Kinda resembles a parachute at that point. No idea why they made it this way and there is nothing in the instructions that say to break the sewing between the webbing. After fighting with this for 2 hours, I did a YouTube search and found a review on it. The guy did exactly that, he grabbed two of the webbings and yanked. The very thin and very light stitching holding them together, came undone. NOW, you can lay the shade correctly and start the process shown in the instructions. I was able to assemble it in very little time, but to get the poles attached to the metal pegs, I did need another person to stand underneath and hold the center up, which then bowed the poles correctly to said pegs. Also, insert the rubberized tips in first, otherwise you'll have nothing to put the metal pegs in. I haven't tried it at the beach yet, but so far, it seems pretty darn good, AND BIG!!!!

We purchased this so we could set it up on the beach and enjoy a full day on the ocean. This tent could not handle the coastal winds. The instructions were not very clear, but once we put everything in its correct place it would not set up. We spent more than an hour trying to help this stand up, but it collapsed over and over again. Needless to say, we were unable to spend a whole day at the beach as planned as we had no shade to escape from the sun. I believe this tent might function better at a lake or over a picnic table, but it is not intended for the ocean side shade.

This was not at all easy to assemble or breakdown.....so disappointed

Too difficult to put up and take down

We were really hoping this tent would be great for our family beach trip. Unfortunately, it was so terrible that we wanted to leave it at the beach. The tent ripped putting it up on the first day and there was not even any wind. The second day, even after having a day under our belt, was even worse than the first. We basically ended up not having a tent for the week. I would 10/10 not recommend this product.

We took it to the beach after taking the photos above. It is easy to assemble if you have at least one person to help. I would recommend this product to others.

this canopy did not do well on the beach. the enclosed back made it very hot with no sea breeze blowing. 1 of the poles snapped the second day it was put up, then would not stand up properly. had to rig it up with sand bags for extra support. I would not purchase again for beach use!!

This canopy is just Great. It's perfect for the price, it is Huge, and the materials used to build it is just what you need out there. I recommend this product for this summer. Thank you.
