greatest
This is the greatest novelist who ever lived. So if there's a better novel than this, it might be one of his others.

One of the best Pavic' novels.
If you love Pavic (one doesn't "like" him, the correct verb is "love") then rest assured that this is the real stuff! If you haven't read him, then you should give it a try - in which case there is no better place to start.

Not really about the Tarot
Not really about the Tarot. Kind of misleading title and wrapper. Vulgar writing, probably intended to be so.

Not for me
Weirdly written and borderline nonsensical. I'm familiar with magical realism as written by authors of various origins and backgrounds, so I'm not expecting of any novel to be traditional and easy to follow - but this one is to me almost thoroughly unpalatable.I read the entire book, yes, which tells you it's not the worst ever, but that doesn't say much in term of positive comments, either.I will also align with another reviewer who said this book doesn't have that much at all to do with tarot. In a sense it does, as it is a strange flow of a novel, a place with blurred timelines and blurred everything, of shifting reality - but it is not related to tarit in other terms than that. You can recognize clearly a few major cards but the rest is iffy.
