Universal Recliner Release Pull Handle, Oval Plastic Sofa Chair Replacement Parts Without Cable Fits 3mm

Got it installed in just a few minutes. Works great - now his recliner works. Wish is wasn't plastic - but what isn't anymore? But, all is good.

Considered a metal latch, but original was plastic. These are exact replacement parts that installed in under 5 minutes. No issues. Works well. Good choice if you need a new latch.

I have a name brand couch that sounds like Bay-Lee-Zoy, and that company wanted close to 100 bucks to fix the broken pull handle, AND they needed to have the couch returned to some regional center that they were going to charge me for. Ten minutes, a Phillips head screwdriver, and this handle, and I have a fully functional couch again. Just take it slow, don't force anything, and remember the direction that the cable pull is oriented and it's easy-peasy to fix. It feels exactly the same as the pull on the other side of the couch, looks the same, and because of how the geometry of the part is, it's easier to get back in than the original.

When we received the new latch we installed it in about 5 minutes. That easy! Works perfectly and we have no issues.

Wish I could have found a all metal one. But we’ll see if this one last 2 years like the original. Fit’s perfect. Make sure you check the cable end size. There is 2 different size holes for the cable end and the mounting holes position.

Everything fit well and it has continued to function as expected. When one is use to a reclining sofa/chair and it breaks, it really does get missed. Glad I was able to find a replacement part.
