Review: Love them --Update - New Update- Still loving these shoes. I have had them now for a month & I been doing everything in them from walking miles, hiking miles on different terrain, working, exercise, running errands & these shoes are holding strong. I have now washed them twice & still in great condition. Even the velcro is holding up. Best footware purchase I've ever made. I still feel they are over priced in my opinion. I have added 2 new photos for this new updated review. The 2 new photos show there condition after a month of continuous wear. Update: These are now my favorite shoes. I wear them doing everything from work to hiking & daily errands. They are holding up to continues wear. I get great compliments on them as well. Definitely will be buying more. I highly recommend them to anyone who likes barefoot shoe feel. I don't even mind the brand logo on the shoe. Still think they are over priced but they are a great barefoot shoe. I was hesitant on buying these as I think there overpriced & some reviews where not good. They went on sale so I bought a pair but still overpriced in my opinion. I am glade I bought them tho as they are now my favorite barefoot shoes. For the price I sure hope they hold up for along time. I am a barefoot shoe gal & wear these types of shoes in all my every day activities. I like the feel of these shoes & the openness of the shoe. My other ones different brand are more like a sock & cover my whole foot so I sure hope these pair last throw all my walking, hiking paddleboarding & exercising longer than the other brand I've been buying. Even tho I feel these are overpriced I will be buying more specifically when they are on sale for a lower price. They are very comfortable. I bought them in my size of regular shoes 9 1/2 & they fit almost perfect there is just a tad bit of extra space at my toes so next pair I'll buy a size 9. Overall I am very happy with these & I will update this review within a month after wearing them for awhile. Review: Comfortable, but tighter & smaller than the other Finger shoes. - I have been wearing the KSO Evo Mens (which are wider than the Womens) for several years now and really cannot wear anything else. However, I wanted something less "sporty" and decided to give the V-Soul a try since they look a bit more like Mary Janes. The positives are that they let your foot move naturally and allow the toes to spread just as a true barefoot shoe should. However, they do run tighter and 1/2 size smaller than the KSO Evo's do. After a few hours of walking in the Florida heat, I have to loosen the strap because it starts to pinch. Also, like the sportier Vibrams, they have the logo on the outside which defeats the purpose of the "Mary Jane" look (I did take a black Sharpie and colored the logo so it was less noticeable). Overall though, I am happy with the purchase. I do wish Vibram would make a line of dress shoes - they have one model of a leather dress shoe, but the something about the stitching & fit of it rubbed my toes and I had to return it.

So Comfortable!
This is about my 5th or 6th pair of FiveFingers over the past 13-15 years. I usually buy a 39 for barefoot shoes and 40 for ones I'll wear with socks. Everyone said these run a little small, so I hesitantly ordered the 40. I'm glad I did - they fit just like my other 39's. They are SO COMFORTABLE, and right out of the box. No breaking in! I never wear shoes in the house - we even have a no shoes rule - but I don't want to take these off! And they're cute enough to wear to work on more casual days. The sole is thin and smooth, not like my trail running shoes, so I won't be wearing them hiking. I just don't think they'll grip. But it's thick enough to wear on walks. (Granted, I ran a marathon in barefoot shoes.) They also feel like they'll be cool and moisture-wicking for the Summer. So, I will definitely wear these out!

It is what it is
I’ve been wearing Vibram FiveFingers for the last 14 years now, and are the only type of shoes I can wear that doesn’t crush my toes or make my knees feel like they’ll explode. I’ve tried at least five different pairs and I usually always have issues with the heels (the only exception being the scooped heel version found in one or two of their running styles). So despite loving this brand I was hesitant to buy this particular design. But I needed a dress shoe for my brother’s wedding and I doubted he’d take kindly to me showing up in flip flops. And regular dress shoes just don’t cut it anymore. So I reluctantly dropped the $100 for these. Pros: They’re very pretty and petite. Because my pair is black they look like normal ballet flats from afar. The fabric is as great a quality as other FiveFingers. The sole is thinner, but it’s designed to be for indoor use mainly. Found no issue with the stitching of the toe boxes and there were no seam issues of note. Because they are new, I’ve yet to have any issue with the Velcro straps - they looked and felt nice. Cons: As others have mentioned, this style does tend to run small. Because my runner style is a tad large as a 38EU I figured I’d get that size again and it would fit a bit better. Well, for my smaller toes it is still a little large. But for my big toe? It’s to the very end and trying to push through the fabric. After a short walk the toe issue didn’t prove a problem, but it did look a little funny up close. My main complaint is the heel - as I feared. After a ten minute walk I had deep red lines marked into the heels and a chuck of rubbed away skin that was bleeding. Five days later of only wearing flip flops and the wounds on my heels are still red and in the process of healing. Final thoughts: I’m giving it 4 stars because it is a nice shoe and can do what it’s recommended for. I’d love them if it wasn’t for the fact they acted like a cheese grater against my heels. When I wear them to the wedding I’ll have to put on stupidly large band-aids and hope that helps. I am honestly dreading wearing them for hours. And, frankly, it sucks knowing I spent $100 on something I’ll probably never wear again.

So worth it!!
I love being barefoot, I workout & typically feel like I have better balance when I am barefoot in general. I originally bought a size 5.5-6.0 in Black. My right foot felt a little snug. I therefore bought a size 6.0-6.5 and the black color was sold out in that size. So I opted for the pink color. When it arrived in the mail the shoes were not pink, but rather a lilac/lavender color, which I absolutely love!! These shoes definitely mimic the barefoot feeling and I feel completely stable when wearing them. I have worn them to the gym in my development to work out, I've worn them on walks around my neighborhood, and I've worn them during yoga. They are beyond comfortable, fit like a glove, and cannot highly recommend them. I have multiple sclerosis and finding shoes in general is difficult. I have never felt more sturdy and the comfort level when wearing them is amazing.

Size runs a little large...
I bought these to wear during yoga, as an upgrade from my grippy yoga socks. I wanted something that would keep my feet from slipping on the mat, but would also not shift on my feet while changing positions. Having never bought a pair of shoes like this before, I thought these looked like they were worth a try. I was a little nervous that they didn't have my normal size available (an 11 in athletic shoes), but I was hopeful, and ordered the 10/10.5. Surprisingly, they fit my feet just fine, and are adequately roomy in all respects. They are very comfortable, and provide just the right amount of traction and stability for yoga. I also like the fact that they are machine washable, and am eager to give that a try.

These run VERY small
These are so small I have to return them. I have two older pairs of vibrams, both of which fit great. They are both several years old and full coverage over the top of the foot. One pair uses Velcro closer, the other laces. I have a very true size six foot that fits all size six shoes easily - until these. These run so small that each toe not only touched the end but also curled slightly. They were also so narrow that the Velcro barely closed over my foot. Do yourself a favor and physically measure your foot before ordering. Based on the actual measurement of my foot, I had to order an EU size 38 (7.5 - 8). Both of my other pairs are EU 36’s.
