No after taste

I have been using berberine for almost a year. When I began taking berberine my average daily blood sugar was 140 with A1C at 6.5. I had already, by cutting out the sugar and decreasing the carbs, dropped my A1C from 8.5 to 6.5. In 5 months. After starting taking berberine I watched my average daily blood sugar drop from the 140’s to 120’s in less than a month, then 110’s, then 100’s, then 90’s. So 3 months after the berberine my A1C was 5.5. When I began taking berberine I was on 15 units of insulin and three blood pressure meds. After 3 months on berberine, I was off insulin and only taking 10 mg of lisinopril twice a day. That is the only prescription med I currently take. I have been off all diabetic med and all but one prescription for 8 months.I started with 1 600mg a day for a week to see if it interacted with any of my meds. After a week I increased to the recommended dose. After another week, I increased the dosage to 4,800mg a day (2 capsules 4 times a day). I know that is way over the recommended daily dose, but I watched a drastic drop in my blood sugar. My daily average blood sugar is 93. I presently take 3-4 capsules a day. The only negative side effect, I experienced, was diarrhea.I recommend berberine to anyone with type 2 diabetes. In my opinion it is a wonder drug.
