Nintendo DS Lite - Metallic Rose (Renewed) [video game]

Overall great gift for those who want to be taken back to their childhood and relive their memories. My wife uses it all the time which is fantastic.

Previous review: “Functional but not operational: As displayed within the video DS Lite(1) powers on and appears to run the inserted game pak; however, once reaching beyond title & “loading screens” it loads the save game file as it black screens.” New review(updated from previous): Functional and operational especially after a brief chat with “Amazon” support. They helped me soft reset my game to operate the game I had intended it to work on Pokémon SoulSilver, however after some gameplay, I found that the system had some screen deformities similar to that on a Phone screen protector with “bubbling” causing it to resist the stylus’s ability to ‘smoothly’ glide across the screen. Resolution: chatted with “seller support” and no clear option to replace or fix the system (buff out). Compromise(me): instead of needing a replacement; I decided to use for a lower demanding game for the stylus screen: Pokémon Platinum.

The case is perfect...so much so I'm wondering if they put a new case on, and just reused the little screw covers! It came with a charger and a stylus, which I think is all I need...I'll find out later if there is a mystery slot for a memory card. I let it charge for a while, then turned it on. The bottom screen seems fine so far, and the top screen has a tiny but clear cyan line going vertically down the screen, but for my types of games I could care less! I slipped in my Mario Land cartridge and it worked fine, and I played about 15 minutes of Pokemon Black which also seemed to work perfectly...I suspect the D-Pad might be a bit "well-loved" under the cleaning, but it works fine, and that's fair enough with "renewed" devices from over a decade ago. I don't have any Game Boy Advance cartridges, so I don't know if that slot works or not, but I have no reason to think it won't. There is a teeny teeny bulge in the seam at the top of the case, but I'm not losing sleep over it since the device seems to be working.

I can't express how shocked I am by the quality of this ds! Mine came from CaveGamers and is in excellent condition. Both screens are free of scratches and the system powers on and stays on properly. No issues so far.

-Battery won’t hold a charge. -game slot won’t load up inserted game. -console freezes upon removal of cartridge despite the cartridge not even registering being inserted. The console looks to be in good condition and buttons feel good, but it can’t perform its main function. I will return item and hope they can make it right.

So far, so good. Has a couple small, small, small scratches, but nothing I care about or notice. Love the color!

Wanted to re-live childhood and purchase a DS Lite. This came in good condition. There were some minor scratches since it is an Amazon renewed product, but that was to be expected. Buttons, sound, and video quality are all functioning great. Playing games on it is just as fun as I remembered!

It's been so long since I've played this model. It works beautifully, came with stylus and charger, also able to read one of my oldest ds games.

La verdad estoy muy satisfecha , a la fecha que escribo esta reseña ya tengo casi un año con el nintendo. Lo pedí para revivir recuerdos de la infancia y la verdad si esta en buenas condiciones. El micrófono sirve a la perfección, los botones también y el botón de volumen desliza con facilidad, también me incluyeron el cargador y el lápiz apesar de que el lápiz viene de otro color pero si no eres muy quisquilloso no importa, el cargador con el que viene funciona bien, y hasta la fecha no he tenido ningún problema . Además el sonido es nítido sin ningún problema. Tiene uno que otro raspones pero no es importante tomando en cuenta que es reacondicionado. SIN DUDA ES INCREÍBLE!!!!.

Es claro que la consola es usada, pero en general se encuentra en buenísimas condiciones, no tiene rayaduras ni marcas. Funciona perfecto hasta la fecha, ha leído todos mis cartuchos, inclusos los de Gamboy AD y una tarjeta R4 que tenía una década sin usar.

Llevo 1 semana con 3 días usándolo y no e tenido ningún problema funciona muy bien carga muy bien trae su plumita y cargador está entero ya e jugado en el y funciona muy bien ya le pegué asta stickers me encantó no duden en comprarlo. 🥹

Cuando me llegó se veía todo bien, se veía muy bien pero me percaté que no era nueva, por qué tenía un poco de arañazos y mugre, mi Nintendo ds lite negra se ve más limpia y eso que llevo 10 años con ella. Pero en si el sistema y todo funciona bien.
