These canvas covers were perfect replacements and totally revived our 30 year old chairs.

Did not fit, the seat was not as wide as described

Here's the actual measurements of what I received.Seat (laying flat) edge to edge 18.5" by 15"But here's the kicker. This is just pieces of canvas with the edges folded over and then stitched in place. (It's not laser sharp engineering) Edge to edge measurements will be misleading. What you need to look at is the middle of the dowel to the middle of the other dowel. This is easy to measure on the chair your already have.That measurement is 17.75" on the canvas that I received. But my chair it's actually 19.5" so this is way too small. (My friends chairs have the same measurement as mine, and they were totally different purchases.)The next consideration is the back piece. Laying flat that is 20" by 6" But remember that small diameter dowels hold in the seat canvas. The upright wood posts that hold the back is much larger in diameter. 20" laying flat is way different from the length you have to work with after you pull the canvas over thick posts. The center of the hole that slips over the wood posts to the other center is 18" on the product that I received. I could fit between 19" to 21" on my chair. (I could bend in those posts.) So it's too small again, and I'll return it.I like the canvas material. Looks pretty sturdy. It's mostly double stitched. That looks good too.It's made in China. Which explains why they converted Inches to CM to 2 decimal places.

Good product, but note: Bought this for a chair on the outside deck (not bothering to bring it in each night). With the first rain, found out that the red dye was all over the deck. After that, didn't seem to bleed anymore. Hindsight, I would have washed these and put them on still wet (using a small diameter dowel - cheap - I got from HomeDep0t.) Let it dry on the chair as was already a tight fit when dry.

The product seemed very nice in quality, but it is not what I expected based on the description and the photo and I will be requesting a refund. Thank you for asking.
