I don't often write reviews but this product surpassed my expectations. I have an iPhone 6 set up in a configuration with Apple's USB3 Camera Connector that passes through Qobuz Hi-Res streaming (16bit & 24bit) from the phone app straight into a Grant Fidelity TubeDAC-11 via USB. The USB3 Camera Connector famously has issues with how it determines appropriate levels of power that it detects which then has an effect on whether the USB3 CC will even support the device on the other end of the USB cable. In my setup with the TubeDAC-11, even though it is a standalone unit with it's own power supply and everything, the USB3 CC determined it was unsupportable *unless* I had the Lightning cable plugged in supplying power to the phone at the same time, almost like it felt like the phone was supplying all the power to this rocking dac/amp! I was forced to supply power to my phone at all times for the USB3 CC to even function. But it worked and I was glad! Well, until I quickly realized how taxing Hi-Res streaming apparently is on my phone, as the couple of various Lightning charging cables I invariably used barely charged the phone to any positive effect unless I had the screen off; no browsing or otherwise using the phone at the same time as streaming. So when I started browsing Amazon reviews to determine a new charging cable, I came across this Lightningfast charger where some of the reviews specifically called out the higher level of charging power it provided. I took a chance and when it arrived, I set about testing it. Within a half hour of a typical listening session, streaming Qobuz and browsing at the same time on the phone, it was apparent just how capable this charger was. It provides outstanding charging power and freedom from the worry I had before with my other cables, one of them an actual Apple cable.My oldest daughter repeatedly asks to borrow this cable to charge her later model iPad due to the supplied charger providing barely adequate charging power while she is drawing on it. This Lightningfast charger easily outpaces the demand her drawing apps place on her device. Time to order her one of her own!

This is an update from my previous review. I cannot say enough good things about Lightningfast and its Apple Certified Lightning Charger. This a company that really stands by its product and when they say “lifetime warranty,” they mean it. I first bought one of their Apple Certified Lightning Chargers in 2016. It stopped working in March 2017 so I bought another one. I really like the convenience of having one iPhone charger that travels as a one-piece unit. When the second charger stopped working in August 2017, I noticed that the company has a lifetime warranty on these chargers. I wrote to the company and got an immediate response, asking me to simply send them photos of how the chargers were not working. I did so and got another nice email stating they would replace both chargers, free of charge. A week later I received TWO brand-new chargers in the mail! It’s now September 2019 and the chargers they sent stopped working. I contacted Lightningfast and let them know what happened. This time around, I got a quick response and they asked me to take a short video of the two chargers plugged in respectively, showing that chargers were not working. I received a nice email back from the company saying they would replace the chargers again. I just received two replacements in the mail, free of charge. This is unbelievable. I have never worked with such a reputable company with such great customer service. Definitely buy this product. It charges my iPhone so well and quickly. I love using the charger because the manufacturer really puts its customers first. Thank you, Lightningfast!

I had an impressive Customer Service experience with Lightningfast iPhone charger. We know it’s a great product, and own 3 of them. They are much faster at charging, and I liked knowing Apple approved of the product. But then one of the three chargers started acting oddly. It wouldn’t turn the iPhone off, and the phone kept beeping, like when first plugged into the charger. I contacted Lightningfast, and someone actually responded to my question about the charger. The person said the charger had a LIFETIME warranty. They said they were a family owned business in the U.K., and since I lived in Wisconsin, I didn’t have to return it, just attach a picture of it. My initial contact was about a week ago. The new charger arrived today, and it works perfectly. This is a great product with exemplary Customer Service. Buy it!

I would have given more stars but stopped working after 8 mos or so.

At home and work this has saved me from the 'missing cube' problem. My boss will inevitably need to leave out of town and forget his 'cube'. He will then ask to borrow mine and either leave it at the hotel or lose it along the way. This is my 'only' cord and I no longer worry about losing it. At home, I have 1 college student with a 4S (everyone else in the house uses the lightning charger) and he continually loses his cube or leaves elsewhere and 'borrows' ours. This has solved that problem. It works well and I've never had my phone not recognize the charger like some off brand lightning cords. The only thing I would like more is a longer cord. The cords that come with iPhones tether you to the outlet. As long as you do not need to move around while charging, there is no issue. Overall a great buy.

This charger has exceeded expectations. Yes, it charges my iPhone 7 and iPad Air overnight like I would expect but I really appreciate how sturdy the cable is. I seem to go through a lot of charging cables that just don’t last long primarily because they are flimsy and the cable shorts where it typically bends. Although this charger is pricey, it comes with a lifetime warranty. That to me is an awesome value. Of course you want to take care of it but just knowing the company stands behind the product and will replace it to me is an exceptional value. Overall highly recommend.

This fits the bill for charging my iPhone and, given its small size, for travel use. It's working well.
