Q: Is this ok to use on a 12gauge shot gun?

No. I tried with my Mossy 535 and the dot fell to the side after 5 shots. Couldn't adjust after that so I returned it. I still might re-buy for a different gun now that it's $45 cheaper.

Q: Will this fit saddle scope mount on new haven 600at ,, same as mossberg 500

I am not sure what brand of saddle mount you have. Most of them I have seen, and the one for my Model 500 have the standard Weaver-style base for mounting scope rings. This sight fits a standard Weaver mount, that's what I bought for it, a #24 Weaver base. You can look it up and make sure the dimensions match your mount.

Q: how long is the picatinny base mount? would like to buy a picatinny riser that fits perfectly for this red dot sight.

Q: how visible is it in direct sunlight?

I've only used mine twice, the sun was out and I didn't have any problem with visibility
