This movie I remember seeing it when I was teenager, and I wanted to watch it again so I searched prime and they had it on a promotion I think.. so I brought it..

Anold Schwarzenegger, Kim Belushi, Walter Hill........ Wonderful combination!Walter Hill directed some solid action films in the 80's and I think this is his best. The combination of Arnold and Jim works as well as mixing Nick Nolte with Eddie Murphy!Hill edits action in a very particular style. Essentially filming the same scene from a few different angles then re-using the same action a few times to make it seem more is going on! For example, one punch filmed from 3 angles will be shown as 3 punches in the film when only 1 punch was actually filmed! Or he will cut frames out in between drawing a fist back and the punch landing! Very odd.Schwarzenegger and Belushi play off each other really well in typical "buddy movie" style and form a deep respect for each other by the end. Even if they have wildly different methods for getting their man!It's got some good action scenes and it's split up well with police station comedy breaks where a young Larry Fishburne gets to shine!The UHD transfer is very good indeed with the right amount of film grain and a lot more detail is visible now. The audio is a bit flat in only 5.1 but some of the overpowered gun shots sound nice.Special features on the disc are a bit useless and the standard version Blu-ray looks a heck of a lot better than the old release. Still the UHD beats it by a good mile!

Classic Arnie, great watch!

bought this to replace the older bluray release thats also out there, more extras and a better PQ made this a pleasent double dip purchase of which i wouldnt normally do, but some films are just worth it

Great movie, but the product photo is false as there is no slip cover. Good to know for collectors like myself who buy new editions of movies they already own, where such things matter.
