U Do Online Courses?
Bought this for performing, but seems like it going to function very well to participate in online courses and have sheet music, backing tracks and notes all right in front of me. Cool!It seems to be be very sturdy, very adjustable and holds my devices well. I have an 8th generation iPad and iPhone 15.I was careful to have one music stand leg projecting forward under the iPad for as much support as possible. Does not seem to be tippy at all, but the music stand is a heavy duty one. Not sure how a very lightweight or flimsy stand would do. This should work well on mic stands too.The holder does not extend excessively far away from the music stand, which enhances stability.Very pleased with this addition to my gig gear!

Just want i needed.
Perfect! I have a thicker iPad case with a keyboard and it still fits in this. Super easy to set up and disassemble. I couldn't believe how sturdy this felt for the price. Fully adjustable to fit most tablets within the size range.

Used in music practice and performance.
Works perfectly for my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10". But, it can fit much larger tablets as well. I use this item at my church for music practice and performance. It can be attached to just about any post such as a mic stand, music stand, or like I use it, attached to a symbol stand as I stand right next to the drums. Once attached, it does seem fairly sturdy and can be turned for either portrait or landscape or in between. It is easy to place and remove my tablet with a simple turn of the knob.

Works great for what it is
I ordered this to attach to my 5/8" microphone arm on my desk (in place of the mic) and on a 5/8" microphone stand so I can use my tablet for reading guitar tabs. This mount works great. It's stable and had all the adjustment I need. My only problem with it is that it's a little small. I want to put my OnePlus Pad 2 in diagonally, but it's just barely too large to fit this holder. Fortunately, it fits fine in portrait or landscape and it seems to hold it in place with the friction fit, so I'm not too upset about it. But its unfortunate they don't offer multiple sizes for more standard-sized > 10" tablets. For the price, I can't complain.

Solidly made, slightly less flexible if you have a phone grip on your tablet.
Very solidly made. The design allows you to screw the holder directly onto the threaded end of a standard mic stand. The included attachment screws into this same threaded socket and then allows you to securely clamp the setup onto any pipe-like/pole-like thing up to roughly 2 1/4" diameter, or even square cross-section tubing/rod up to roughly 1 3/4" square. Note that the design assumes there is nothing, or only a thin (1/4" or so max) something, on the center-back of the tablet - such as a phone grip; thicker than this and, IF you try to hold it diagonally, the disks which hold the tablet are liable to bend the tablet around said grip or not allow one corner/edge of the tablet to engage the disks at all. However, holding the tablet by the sides slightly below center works great - and the phone grip rests on the main bar & prevents it sliding down.
