£50 at time of review pack of 30 I got these for a funeral send off on a beach, so it was quite a sombre atmosphere, no one had any idea that I had the lanterns, none of them had ever launched a Chinese sky lantern before (which surprised me as a number of them were Chinese! And it was Lunar New Year)… anyway, half of these didn’t get off the ground, they either tore or went up in flames before launch… no problem, we were on a beach! Yes there was a slight breeze, but it was very gentle, but these would cave in on themselves with the slightest of a breeze, and then likely catch alight. The ones that did launch received a huge cheer! We found the best way to get them launched was to have 2-3 people per lantern, lift it just off the ground, light it, then place it on the ground until the lantern has filled up with hot air and is starting to lift, then about 7 out of 10 of those launched Yes it was a bit of a palaver to get these to launch, but everyone was laughing at one another that it totally turned a sombre atmosphere into one that was very apt for the person we were commemorating, she was all about fun and laughter and would have been laughing at us, so in the end, these worked out just fine! Excellent product.

A product can always be improved, more fire retardant on the paper could help, but overall it is what it is and works well. Hold them down lit longer than you think needed that way they rise quicker.

These were great and easy to use. Well packaged also. Absolutely mesmerising for children. My daughters loved them.

Too send a wish to my wife in heaven

Was really happy with these lanterns, they were easy to light and went off with no problems. We let them go on the top of a hill and watched them float off into the distance, was really pretty.

I got so upset. For my photo shoot, it never lit up. Took so much time.

Parfait, a été un vrai plus pour notre mariage. Les lanternes se consumaient entièrement avant de toucher le sol, ce qui n'est pas plus mal. Attention, en Belgique, il faut une autorisation pour lancer de telles lanternes ! À demander un bon mois avant la date. Il faut en outre qu'il fasse beau, mais que le vent ne dépasse pas 15 km/h. Pensez aussi à utiliser plusieurs chalumeaux pour l'allumage. Difficile à faire prendre avec un briquet, et du coup les lanternes sont parties au compte goute. Mais rendu magnifique, super souvenir.
