Large Ice Tray, 6 Big 2.25 inch Ice Cubes for Whiskey and Cocktails, 2 Pack with Lids

I use these to make ice for iced tea in my 20oz glasses. They won't fit in normal sized glasses. They are thin, so take care to not spill on the way into the freezer, but the thin silicone makes them easier to extract than my rubber trays which make 2" cubes.I ran them through the dishwasher after arrival and had no residue issues.

There was 2 trays w/ 2 lids. Easy to wash & clean. I wish there was some marks as a fill line. My 1st fill, I filled it too much, I put the lid on & water went everywhere. The lid doesn't snap on, more like lays on top. Well, the ice froze & expanded & the top was off. The side walls are sturdy enough. The bottom feels a hair thin, maybe to help get the ice out. My black silicone 1.75" round mold, the ice would melt too fast & wasn't big enough. My black & white 2" round mold had built in funnels, & those didn't really do any better. Well, this new mold is 2.25" cubes ! They are big ! And the ice cubes do NOT melt as fast as my other 2 round ice molds ! Now I have 12 square ice cubes (2 trays)in this deal and I like them better !Add: 12/28/21Been using the big square ice cube trays more & I found out, if I fill up each part about 3/4 of the way with water. The lid stays on ! The ice expands to the 2.25" size width and length & almost that same height, but I've got it down now, to get the ice I want for my cocktail drinks....

These make huge ice cubes. May not fit in all glasses. Pretty to use and remove.

I was using too many ziploc bags when portioning vegetables and meat into single servings. This tray is useful for more than ice cubes. I use the trays to store leftover broth/soup in the freezer. Six single servings of chopped onions, peas, and hash browns will also fit in the tray. Removing food from their original plastic bags saves space in my small freezer. These are very handy for people who need to freeze/refrigerate smaller food portions while eliminating their dependency on plastic bags.

I just got a Nespresso machine, and as "foo foo" as I am, I can't use regular ice for my coffee and drink watered down iced coffee...oh no! I need to freeze coffee cubes so that I don't lose the integrity of my coffee taste. I love the size of the cube and how soft the container is. The lid lays on top and doesn't close tight or click when you close it because it's soft material, but it does the job by holding the liquids in. Only thing that bothered me is it's so "damn" hard to take the ice out once it's frozen. As you can see from my pic, I practically have to flip the darn container inside out to push out my coffee iced cube, and put it on top of a cutting boards so there's no coffee drips staining my counters. Is there an easier way to take out the ice cubes other than melting it with hot water?

Love how easy the ice cubes are to remove. The lid doesn't fit...seems too large.

It’s too big for most of my glasses, but fits in a whiskey glass. - pro tip, just fill it half way for faster freeze times and still have huge cubes.

I read lots of reviews before buying this one that's why I'm writing a review. The quality is excellent and no smell but they are still difficult to get out. The lid is designed to just rest on top. It is not meant to seal it. With a lid, you are able to stack the trays.
