On time, as advertised, and what more could you ask for?!

Oldie but goodie
The focus on achieving excellence in the professions is too often lost when money gets in the way. Schoen recognizes that there are areas of practice the require a higher lever of professionalism==the reflective practitioner.

Look elsewhere for books on professional education
Schon focuses his book on "reflection in action" and "reflection on reflection in action". While reading this book, he did make me self-aware of many teaching techniques that I currently use, but very little new ground was broken here. Not really worth reading, but may be of some value to new "professionals"

Very simple and easy to understand. I would recommend it to anybody.

Neutral.
The book is quite detailed about the concept about reflection in action (tacit knowledge?) but it is definitely not for the casual reader.
