California Highway Patrol Officer Exam Third Edition

I have been doing the CHP mentoring program now for a couple months with some CHP officers to help us prep physically for the physical test, and also the written test, and some of our mentee's told me about this study guide, it is very very helpful in preparing before the exams, you just gotta be dedicated to preparing yourself. This is a great guide to have, you also wanna get a vocabulary and grammer guide to help brush up for your written exam too.UPDATE 5/10/15: I passed both the Written and Physical Tests, I went through the Mentor Program to prepare me for both tests and also purchased this Handbook and these really really prepared me for both tests. I did notice some parts of the handbook are a little outdated like the part that says what the physical ability test requirement is now, but I am sure that will be updated on the next book.5 stars

Great!I actually bought it for my boyfriend who will be taking his test soon & thoughtthis might help him a bit more with his study and give him a guide :) He love'sit..Let's see how good this book & helpful it really is in a few months to see ifhe passed or not (Stay tuned....)

Great on time delivery from shipper. The book breaks everything down. I attended a CHP seminar and although the Sergeant said it was a bit outdated, it's still a great book to have. Sample application, two sample exams, and every part of the exam is broken down for the reader. This book is a great buy!

This study guide pallet B has everything that's needed to help you improve your T-score . It has break down from vocabulary, reading comprehension to cloze.

Really helped pass my POST exam. The only thing that it didn't prepare me for was the fill in the blank essay. On the book I did great but during the test it was a whole another story. Just keep practicing the essay part since the rest is super easy.

You wanna get updated version of this book. It's old and procedure changed quite a bit. I did pass however.

They touch up on the basics if you haven't been in school for quite some time. I just took the written test on Saturday and it did help...we'll see what the results are in about 2 weeks. *crossing fingers*
