perfect packable backpack. makes a great day bag.

I recently used this pack as my sole luggage for a month long trip to Japan. It served me well.

While it's a bit bulky to pack, when you're concerned about space, it does make a great day pack. My only issue is that the side pockets on the outside aren't deep enough to put a slightly larger water bottle. Also, you have to unhook the clasps on the very outside pocket to fully unzip the large compartment. Once you get used to having to do that, it's okay. Just annoying.

This is a great backpack! If you are reading this review, then you already know you want to buy this backpack. I would recommend buying it. It’s packable so it can go with you in a larger bag or in the trunk of your car and be ready to go whenever you unexpectedly need a backpack. As a general day pack, or even as an utra-light pack with compact, ultra-light gear for longer trips. Just buy it. Actually buy two. One to use, and one for back up.

Incredibly comfortable to wear for such a lightweight pack. I use it for travel as a carry on and it is fantastic. I just keep my computer in a padded sleeve and it works great.
