The hardware appears compact and sleek, so it doesn't look out of place on our tiny medicine cabinet. Even with using the short screws it came with, it feels pretty sturdy and doesn't shift or budge when the screws are fully drilled in and it's locked.The keys slide in and out of the locks easily and the latch can be opened with the key still in the keyhole.It functions as it should without much issue, the locks themselves are pretty heavy though despite being so small so it wouldn't work well on small lightweight items.Our only complaint: if the two pieces of hardware (latch and lock) are installed even slightly lopsided to one another it'll take a bit of fidgeting to lock and unlock. Still very much usable, just takes a few extra seconds. The screws also have a tendency to twist the hardware a bit towards the end, but that may be user error! We found a tiny bit of mounting putty on the back of each piece helps keep everything level and in place while adding the screws, and as long as only a tiny bit is used it doesn't stop the hardware from going flush against whatever it's being attached too.

I purchased a small duck coop that came equipped with locks that would be easily opened by a predator. I found these while looking into some other options and decided to give them at try. They were extremely easy to install and really sturdy. They have worked great and have made me feel better about keeping predators out. I do wish there was an option for the locks to both use the same key instead of each lock having a different one, but it's not that big of a deal.

If they lined up a bit better when the hinge is 180 deg I would give this 5 stars. The key is easy to operate and these have helped us secure our french door closets in our youngest 2 kids so they can't get into all their toys.

I ordered in copper finish. Look really good on my tabletop display cabinet, and lock securely. They are sturdy and the lock is easy to open and close. Wish the screws were a little better quality as they strip easily, but I just substituted my own higher quality, which is fine, considering the excellent price on these locks.

I had a hard time finding the right solution to lock the extra storage cabinets in our Airbnb, but these Keyed Locking Hasps were perfect! They’re exactly what we needed to keep the cabinets secure. The color is great—it has a nice, polished look that doesn’t feel cheap or out of place in our 124 year old kitchen.

As far as installation goes, it was pretty easy and straightforward. It is sturdy enough for my needs, but I bought these locks, intending to keep little kids out of my garage fridge. The kids being in fridge isn't the problem, it's the fact that they leave the doors open on the fridge and freezer. I bought these locks thinking, crazily enough, that they would have the same key, but they don't. They are keyed completely different. Anyone would think that if someone was going to buy two locks that they would want both to have the same key. Because I wanted both locks to go on the same fridge it does no good to install both because I don't want to have to carry two keys.

Excellent for desk drawers! You can secure one drawer or with additional modifications, secure a line of drawers. (Modifications self manufactured)
