Terra Hiker Multi-Functional Rain Poncho, Sunshade Tarp, Ground Mat for Outdoor Activities

This is a properly high-quality poncho. It is a different world compared to the cheap disposable ponchos. I bought mine to travel to Thailand. I find that raincoats are a pain when it comes to protecting my camera so I wanted something that would allow me to cover the camera at a moments notice, but would also not get in the way of getting the shot. Enter this wonderful poncho. Needless to say, it provides excellent rain protection, but it can also be used as a tarp for three or four people to sit on. If you're going somewhere wet this is the poncho for you.

At last a waterproof cape for my mobility scooter that is practical, waterproof, easy to put on an take off and light weight.Have tried a number of “made for mobility scooter capes” and none of them are any good. Most are hard to put on and don’t fit or hard to easily take off . This poncho is excellent and would thourghly recommend. At last I can go out without worrying about getting soaked when it rains

Cheap, but large, and lightweight to pack and carry. They keep the rain off, although after two hours of walking in steady rain and fresh wind I was becoming damp. However it was a warm day and it may have been condensation or not putting on the poncho quickly enough once it had come on to rain.

Bought this for trekking the Inca trail and amazon jungle, it is such a fab piece of kit! It’s very easy to fold back into the bag (not usually the case with most packaging) and managed to keep me and my pack dry during heavy rainstorms! The Velcro fastening makes it easy to put on and off quickly and it seemed quite decent material so I think it’ll last a while. The rest of my group had cheap plastic disposable ponchos which ripped and were a nightmare for more than one use and loads of people asked where I got mine from as they were impressed with it! Absolutely super buy!

This survived my climb to Ben Nevis in torrential downpour and gale force winds. Poncho itself is large, very sturdy but lightweight. I'm 178cm tall, size 12 and it fitted a little large.

I ordered two of these one dark blue, the other blue. The blue withstood extremely heavy rain but the dark blue one did not - I got rather wet! Otherwise they are a good fit, a backpack and camera fitted comfortably. I found it easy to walk in, although the weather was also windy. Compact and light, dried quickly. Would have been five starts if it had not leaked. Will be returning the dark blue and keeping the blue.

Initially purchased for wild camping as it can double up as a grounsheet for bivibag and storm jacket to support rain jacket or as a mini tarp suspended between walking poles for temporary shelter.Seems very good quality material all fastenings seem sound. I have only tried it in light rain so far.As others have commented, pity arm coverage is only slightly beyond elbow, not so much an issue if using walking poles but will improvise something for mountain use.

This Poncho is amazing, I do a lot of coastal walking and photography, this poncho is lightweight fits in side pocket of backpack, its easy to put on, covers your backpack and camera keeping you perfectly dry, Im 5ft 3'' and it comes down to my shins so covers pretty much all of me, the hood is a good fit and has a peak so no drips in your face, would highly recommend.
