This Denman Curl Defining Brush is very easy to keep clean from hair gel provided that instantly after use, the brush head is placed in a container and completely submerged in it with water and three to four drops of dish soap. It must be left in this solution for at least five minutes so that all of the gel gets completely removed and doesn’t dry onto it. This brush has a high quality thickness to it. Its size makes it easy to handle and use provided my hand isn’t slippery with hair product on it. When trying to remove every other row of the bristles, however, the design of the brush makes doing so difficult. At least based on this fact I can tell the brush has a lot of durability. Considering all of the thought that went into designing this brush for its intended use, I think this brush is a good value for the money I paid for it.

I love this brush! I usually use a wide tooth comb on my curly hair. I used this brush after washing my hair and it felt wonderful. It gives a great scalp massage. I brushed my wet hair and let it air dry without scrunching it, which I usually do. My hair dried with a smoother softer curl. I’m glad I bought it.

Defines my curls really good, but best to use with hair fully detangled. It is a tad bit annoying when the rubber part slides out while I’m brushing.

My beautician recommended this specific hair brush when working on repairing my heat friendly wigs. She demonstrated how to use the brush applying steam to my wigs. This process got the strands of unruly hair to not look like a bunch of split ends but rather the individual hairs straighten and were repaired.

I really like this brush. I use it in the shower to run the conditioner thru my hair. Works great.

I’m not really sure how to use this brush for curly hair but I brush my hair and it’s freaking sturdy.

I’ve purchased many brushes in my lifetime and this is my favorite. A little shampoo to wash it is all you need to do.
