Can you hook up a sub woofer and 4 speakers ?

The short answer is no. it only has connections for 4 speakers. I tried to piggyback the sub woofer onto the b channel speakers. no luck. It didn't work for me. I settled for one channel with speakers and the other with the sub woofer.

Is the remote rf or ir?

I bet it's IR. I am sure that now it is possible to make cheap RF remotes but RF remotes are intended for non-line-of-sight operations (e.g. through the wall). Unless the receiver is within the line of sight and near enough for you to see the display, you are pretty much limited to volume +/- and other tiny bits. RF remotes are therefore not yet recognized as 'worth' the extra bit they cost and a very few models have these remotes.

How would you or can you run an Equalizer thru this?also can you run a turntable that don’t have a ground thru this as well? One of the cheaper model

No to EQ but yes you could plug in a turntable. Get a phono preamp to boost that turntables signal
