Time Warner RC122 Blue Logo by Philips Remote Control with User Guide

Got this because Spectrum stopped offering this remote and I prefer this one. Works exactly like the old one. It does not come preprogrammed for your cable box, but I just got on the app and asked them what the code was as it wasn’t in the booklet. Super easy to program and works flawlessly.

Now. I have a house with 2 young girls in our home... they love to use the remote control and this worked well from Time Warner. The problem is.. they take the remote with them and of course it eventually will fall on the floor... this time it was by the kitchen and the lense broke off - then my other daughter played with the bulb and it stopped working.... time for a new one...This is an exact replacement and worked great. The best feature is it just finds the remote functions for the tv.. it was super easy to set up!

Came brand-new, shrink wrapped in plastic with setup guide and a pair of batteries, exactly as it would have been if I'd gone to a Spectrum Cable office to pick one up. Cable box was already activated, and with the setup guide, activating the TV takes just a few minutes. Very happy with this purchase. NOTE: I do think it's important to purchase the correct model for your cable box. I almost accidentally ordered an older version which likely would not have worked for my box.

My Spectrum cable box remote was failing (power button stop working, other buttons had iffy response). This is a direct replacement for my remote (depends on what cable box you have). Didn't work as recieved, just had to program it per instructions (same as on Spectrum Site). All in all happy with purchase so far.

At first, the remote did not work at all. Then I used the manual programming method on the back of the remote (or instruction booklet) and was able to program the remote; however, the list button still does not work. 2 starsUpdate: 05/02/20 - I was able to research he Internet and find the correct device code for the RC122 remote. The remote now works fine after an hour of time researching and trial and error. The codes for this remote are: (Cisco: 0000; Motorola:0006). The Cisco version worked for me. I am taking off one star because it didn’t not work at all out of the box. Good Luck!

It works the ways it’s supposed to.

Although this remote does work with my cable box and TV, it is not the exact remote I ordered as advertised. I ordered a Phillips RC122 remote and I got an off-brand model 1056B03 remote. The 1056B03 works about 90% except for the Swap button that does not work with my TV with any of the remote codes provided in the instructions. I am keeping it because of the low price & the fact that it does work for the most part, but when you specifically order an item, that exact item is what you expect to get, not a substitute.

My dog chewed mine so I had to replace it and it is perfect! I will say read the directions on the back and be patient it works… If you try to rush will spend all day hold the remote wait for it to find your TV and then push select just like it says on the back
