Prokas Ultimax 30" Spinner Luggage

Very pleased with this trunk. A world traveler of sorts, I prefer a trunk to suitcase - it is impossible to fit many things in a "half side of a regular suitcase" plus I don't care for opening a suitcase like a book (and it takes up too much room). I used the Rimowa trunk for years (and Tumi before that) and loved it - on my recent trip to Asia the bag arrived off the plane with a wheel torn off. I went to replace it with another Rimowa trunk but found the price point had increased significantly - so started to shop around and came across this Prokas recommended by Traveler's Choice ... at less than half the price of the Rimowa AND a half pound in weight less (huge plus) ... I was apprehensive that it would be a cheap knock off - but I am super pleased. The Prokas is beautifully designed - the handle is great and the wheels I think better than the wheels on Rimowa. I love the adjustable compartment dividers - a bonus

I like the bag but it’s not that durable on the corners. I have bought two of these bags within a 1.5 year span and both times the corners dent in after the first trip. I love it for its size but it’s extremely depressing to find your bag dented in after one trip.

Best luggage ever!My wife and I live out of hotels and suitcases for work, and we've never been so happy with a luggage set (we bought 4 of these). There's a ton of organization options, and the material is lightweight and incredibly durable. Highly recommend.

I have 3 of these and they are my “go to” suitcases - the shape makes them easy to spot on the carousel, the handles on 4 sides make them easy to lift, internally the separators are held by Velcro and so are adjustable, the wheels are very good and they are easier to pack than a conventional suitcase - they don’t get 5 stars because they lock with a key not a combination (one more thing to lose when traveling) - they are not that durable so I have had locks and handles break (see photo) and they are expensive.
