CANAVIS 250mm Individually Sleeved 8-Pin Motherboard Power Extension Premium Cable (Black)

I recently bought this because I upgraded my video card. I used two of these 6 pin extensions on my current card - they are fantastic. My new video card calls for one 6 pin PCI cable and one 8 pin, so I ordered this to match one of my 6 pin extension cables. I wasn't paying attention because apparently this is for CPU power only, even though the product is labeled as PCI Express. This didn't fit my Video Card or any of the 8 pin PCI express cables that came with my modular power supply. Luckily my power supply cables were long enough to use, so this cable goes into my box of misc. computer cables - I'm sure it will come in handy some time down the road. I guess even seasoned computer builders make rookie mistakes from time to time.Anyway, still a nice product and perfect for people who like me, who to keep their computers clean with neat wire management.

If you are going for a very finished look inside your PC case or your PSU cable simply won't reach, this is the cable you need. Each individual cable was wrapped and heatshrinked adding to the products luster. This not only adds to looks, but the cable has more flexibility because of the individual wrapping versus wrapping 8 wires into one signle lump.In my case, the cable length from my modular PSU was too short to go behind the motherboard tray, up, and then go to it's termination point. Thus, I had to run the cable in front of the motherboard which made the case look crowded. This gave me just the length I needed to pull off a clean installation.Rarely do I give 5 stars, but I think this is a deserving product as it has met or exceeded my standards in quality, usefulness, and aesthetics.

First of all, it's too bad anyone would need this product. You'd think by now, power supply manufacturers--especially of modular power supplies, which mine is--would recognize that a lot of the newer cases have bottom-mounts for the power supply, while motherboards still have the power connector at the "top" of the board. Of course I wanted to route my power cable behind the mobo, but even if I didn't, the cable simply was not long enough to reach from the power supply, up and over the video card, to the mobo connector.Thank goodness for NZXT! The length was perfect to enable me to route the cable behind the motherboard and easily connect to the board. If you're in the same situation, this is the ideal solution, and at a very reasonable price.

The cables I got on 2/20/2015 were not the cables shown in the picture. These cables are extremely stiff and do not have the heat shrink or cable sleeve shown in the picture, they are no longer Individually Sleeved. The product I got is Identical to a generic I picked up at microcenter, where the individual wires have a black textured sheath (compared to the red, yellow, orange, and or black plastic normally found on power supplies) rather than actually having sleeves over each wire. This is the exact type of behavior I've come to expect from NZXT and it's entirely my fault for giving them another chance. From other reviews it looks like these were once what they advertised them to be, but that's no longer the case.

What can I say about this, it's a cable. It does its job. The only complaint I would have is that the wiring is a little stiff and prone to memory, though that is nice if you ever have to pull the cable out of your case and install it again, because it'll hold its shape and you don't have to wrestle getting it the way you want again. Also makes it nice for cable management. This combined with a sleeved PSU extension cable made my PC's PSU connectors all black, which looks great in my system

I purchased this cable in order to create better airflow by redoing all of my cable management. Due to the fact that my power supply wasn't modular, but did come sleeved, I needed a way to extend the cables behind the motherboard in order to hide all the wiring, this little baby did the trick perfectly. While this power extension cable is expensive, the quality is nice and the individual cable sleeves for each wire is a nice touch. I wish I had the patience to do it myself but I suppose the cost is worth not having to hassle with it.

I built my new computer a couple of weeks ago, and my huge Corsair Obsidian 650D with bottom-mounted power supply put the 8-pin jack out of reach using cable management. Luckily, a notch in my graphics card allowed me to temporarily run the cable up there, but it BARELY reached. Now, with this extension, I can hide the cable with cable management and still reach the jack. It seems like good quality- all black, braided cables, plugs are solid. It's not very long, but it's perfect for my case (nobody likes lots of excessive cabling). If you are buying a large case with a bottom-mounted PSU, you may do well to just add this to your order to avoid the tragedy of delaying your new build.

Did exactly what I needed it to to do - extend my 12v cable. My case is a full tower, so that meant the cable that came with my power supply wasn't quite long enough to route behind the motherboard. I didn't want to run it in front of the MB, because of looks and I didn't want it to possible hit the fan blades or knock other things loose on the MB. This extender did the trick. it booted up no problem; everything seems to be running full power, no problems.

Ich habe ein neues Case gekauft in dem das Netzteil am Boden unter dem Mainboard verbaut wird. Jetzt war der ATX stecker gerade noch lang genug, um den Anschluss zu erreichen. Sofern man keine Grafikkarte verbaut, hat das auch gepasst. Aber ich brauch ja eine ;) insofern musste eine Lösung her.Die Örtlichen PC-Läden abgeklappert und keiner hatte eine Lösung für mein Problem. Amazon angeworfen und ATX verlängerung eingegeben und 1. Artikel VOLLTREFFER! Bestellt, eingebaut und funktioniert. Beide Steckerseiten sind sowohl als 4 polig und 8 polig zu nutzen. Also wer am Netzteil 4 Pin hat und auf dem Mainboard auch, kann auch nur einen Teil benutzen.Ich habe 8 Pin vom Netzteil, auch angeschlossen und auf dem Mainboard nur 4 Pin. Einfach genial. Kauf ich wieder.1 Stern abzug gibt es für die Sleeves. Diese sind zwar in dezentem Schwarz, aber richtig kratzig und steif.

Brauchte dieses Kabel als Verlängerung des 8-Pin Mainboardanschlusses in einem Big Tower.Die Länge passt und das Kabel ist sehr solide. Positiv ist zu erwähnen, das es bereits schwarz geleevt ist. Ich habe den Sleeve entfernt und Ihn gegen andere Farben ausgetauscht, auch das war kein Problem.Das ablösen und wieder aufstecken der Pins ging gut von der Hand und die Pins sind immernoch sehr solide verankert.Nichts wackelt, nichts klackert.Dafür gibt es von mir 5 Sterne und eine Kaufempfehlung.

Brauchte dieses Kabel, da in meinem großen Gehäuse (NZXT H630) das Kabel für die CPU-Spannungsversorgung (Netzteil Corsair HX850) zu kurz wahr wenn man es hinter dem Mainboard verlegen wollte.Hat alles super geklappt. Keine Probleme beim Einbau oder beim Betrieb. Kabel sieht gut aus also alles top.Auch die Lieferung war sehr schnell
