I purchased the Cridoz 120 Sets Grommet Eyelets Kit with Setting Tools to use for some fabric and tarp projects, and I have to say this kit exceeded my expectations. It is very well put together and provides everything needed to install grommets quickly and securely. The kit comes with 120 grommet sets in a handy storage box, which keeps everything neatly organized and easy to access. The grommets themselves are sturdy, with a nice finish that doesn’t easily bend or break when pressed into fabric. The included setting tools are strong and easy to use, even for someone who doesn’t have prior experience with grommets. With just a hammer and a solid surface, I was able to set the grommets into fabric without much effort. I used this kit on a few different materials, including tarps, curtains, and canvas fabric, and the results have been excellent. The grommets hold tight and don’t pull out, even under stress. The 1/2-inch size is versatile—large enough for most applications but not oversized. One thing I appreciate is that this kit is suitable for both beginners and more advanced DIY users. The instructions were clear, and after installing a couple of test grommets, I got the hang of it quickly. There are some things I don’t like about this, but it is not bad enough to take away any stars, especially considering the value for the price. It is inexpensive, but doesn’t feel too cheap. The instructions are not very clear, but you can kind of figure out how to make it work. The tools are difficult to use, but again for the price point I wouldn’t expect it to be the most advanced. Once you get the hang of it, it is easier to punch the holes, but this worked perfectly in a crunch. I accidentally ordered a poster instead of a banner and they would not punch grommets in a poster so I had to figure out how to still be able to use this with my banner holder. It worked perfectly and now I don’t have to re-order the product plus I can use the rest of the grommets for other projects.

I up-cycled some burlap coffee sacks to tote bags and used these grommets. The pieces fit together well and seem secure, the tools that you use to join them work well. Unfortunately, the punch was too dull to cut through my fabric. Maybe I was asking too much from it and it would work on something like leather or vinyl, but it wouldn’t cut the burlap, the quilt batting, or even the cotton fabric lining I used. It would make a dent, and then I’d have to cut the layers out with sharp scissors. Not sure if I got a dud or not, but the punch was worthless. Still 4 stars because it wasn’t absolutely necessary to use the grommets. Would have been nice though.

Grommets and tools worked well for what I needed them for, they came in a plastic box that was too flimsy for the weight of the tools and it was smashed and unusable by the time I received it.

The product was ok, but the plastic case was broken and unusable.

I was so excited to get this. But then I was super disappointed with its performance. I hammered over and over and over again so hard I chipped paint off the handle and dug into my board as pictured. And some how the thin pillow case material was not cut. After several more hard blows to it I got a little cut had to place it back on trying to get in exact same spot again got a half circle did it again and at the end there was still a few cm of fabric holding on so I finished it with scissors. The cutout is dropping and it shouldn't take 10 minutes to cut out 2 holes. I have no time for an exchange to see if got a dud or not so im returning and will have to find something in store. This company also wants me to box it. Im pretty sure it came in a package but I could be wrong. Either way I only have medium and large boxes so that sucks too. It is possible this was used because the paint work is scratched up.

Nice little package with useful tools

Simple way to position grommets beyond the reach of pliers style grommet tools. Supplied with a punch tool, grommet set tools and a large number of chrome and brass coloured grommets and washers.

Surprisingly easy to use and they work well. As long as you don't hammer them too hard then they work really well and don't warp. There are a ton of grommets though so I don't know what I'm going to do with so many!

I got this for a felt book I am making. This worked so well! I found the hole punch tool a little tricky but after a few tries I got the hang of it. You could probably use a regular hole punch as well as long as it is the correct size. I did it on top of a cutting board to not damage my table.
