My son uses it regularly and it works great for his electric scooter. We haven’t had any trouble with tampering and we still have the lock and the scooter a year later. I’d say money well spent.

This lock is fantastic! The cable coating is smooth and doesn’t scratch my bike. The locking mechanism is smooth and opens easily with no hang ups. It’s long enough that I can hook up both mine and my daughter’s bikes to a bike rack. Overall I’m really happy with it! And the price is even better!

I know it's advertised as a bike lock, but really, it can be used for anything. This lock feels durable. It comes with a predetermined combination. The combination comes stamped in metal with a key ring. I got this to keep on my gravity chair. I usually keep my chair outside in front of my house or I'll take it with me to the beach, park, etc. I keep it locked up so it doesn't get stolen. I was using a chain and padlock previously, but the chain was heavy, scratched the paint on the chair, and it needed a key. I found this lock to be perfect for my needs. This lock is lightweight, so it's easier to carry when I take my chair to places like the beach. I like the that it self coils. This also makes transporting the chair easier because the lock can wrap around the legs. Although it coils, the cable is still flexible and easy to stretch out. The vinyl jacket is nice because it doesn't scratch the paint. The paint is the only protection the chair has from rust. There are a couple of small rust spots from the chain I was using before this. I like having a combination dial, especially when I'm on the go. I don't like carrying keys with me when I go to the beach. I don't like carrying stuff in my bathing suite pockets because they are net and easily rip. People lose stuff like keys and jewelry all the time at the beach. Once it's in the sand, you aren't going to find it, so I leave my keys in my car under my seat. I really like that the combination comes stamped on a small metal plate. You can keep the combination anywhere, like on your keys, in your wallet, etc. I remember when I was younger and got my lock for my school locker. I wrote down the code on a piece of paper. I left the paper in my pants pocket when I put it in the washing machine. I couldn't remember the combination, so the custodian had to cut my lock. This metal combination plate won't get destroyed so easily and should last the lifetime of the lock. If you want a durable, lightweight, compact, combination cable lock that won't scratch your stuff, look no further.

FYI!! Instructions on package say factory preset is 1234, but didn't work. After searching online we found that there is a small red tag with the actual factory preset code. Bike lock works well but took us a bit to get it unlocked initially.

Very durable and easy to lock

I could not fit some expensive work ladders in my garage, they're roofed in an open patio, so using this to lock them on to a beam will discourage or slow-down any theft attempts. The coated chain is great too, won't scrape or damage.
