Shampoo for Scalp Acne – Clear Scalp from Acne, Zits and Pimples 6.0 oz

Was very skeptical..I've had scalp acne for the past 5yrs. It was very bad even spent $300 on a dermatologist and spent another $300 on medication he guaranteed would work in 30days..it didn't so i saw this product on Amazon and read into it and tried it..to my surprise I've used this product for 2wks now and i noticed a difference in after 3 uses. Now all my acne is pretty cleared up.. Thank you ovante for an awesome product

I dont know if its as good as THEY think they are.. but i do know that the my scalp has cleared up. But WOW it stinks. Definitely use it at night and NOT before you head out to work. Haha..No seriously.

As the title says, smells terrible and it’s expensive. I used it for long enough that I should have seen results. The only thing I can show for this is my wallet is lighter and my head stinks like egg/sulfur hybrid. It’s not worth the money IMO. I thought maybe I didn’t follow the directions. Nope it just doesn’t work. After all, I paid a lot of money for a tiny bottle and had to smell it all day. I figured that effort alone would certainly give some result but it didn’t. If it works for you great, but I doubt did anything for you. Just saying cause it did nothing for me. I really mean did “nothing” other than smell. I know I won’t be alone in this experience. If you are looking for something that will work; Look for something with salicylic acid if you have scalp acne or even dandruff. That is what I was recommended to get. I have had better luck using shampoo with salicylic acid then this homeopathic stuff. Also doesn’t smell like you got egged by kids at the Fourth of July celebration. I feel like I was misled that this product should work. I could have spent a third the price for stuff that worked. Don’t know why I deviated from my usual stuff. I thought, “This has to good, with the ingredients in it.” Also I wouldn’t even complain about the price or smell if it worked. But when you roll the dice on something expensive like this, then I expect you to be upset when it doesn’t work. It’s supposed to treat acne on the scalp. I paid for a treatment that would treat acne on the scalp. It didn’t work now everything bad about it is amplified. Well lesson here is stick to what you know works. Also I’m gonna beat that horse again, this stuff stinks horrible. You been warned.

This is an amazing product! I have only been using it for 3 days (once a day) and all my breakouts on my scalp have completely disappeared. I have tried several medicated shampoos and treatments, both natural and medicated, and nothing has ever worked 100%. So happy I found this! It is even more potent than what was prescribed by my doctor!Of course, everyone is different, but I would recommend to at least try it for a few days before moving on to costly injections or something. It really is remarkable how well it works!Instructions says to leave it in for 3 minutes, but I do 5-6 minutes once a day and that does the trick. Highly recommended!

I have been using it since I bought it, everyday, but my hair still has acne and itches a lot. This is just a temporary fix.

The smell is too strong and was making my hair fall

Shampoo works great for scalp pimples. I have been using it daily for about two weeks with great results. It doesn't smell bad like some of the other reviews say. Mostly what you smell is a woody, menthol scent. After you finish washing and drying your hair, there is no lingering odor. I do not find it unpleasant at all, and I am very sensitive to smells. This product is great for daily use. It does not dry out your scalp or hair. I normally wash my hair with a half dollar size amount and leave it in for about 3-5 minutes. Once rinsed out, there is no residue. Hair is manageable and not oily at all.I noticed improvement in my scalp within two days of using this shampoo. Gone are the painful and puss filled pimples on my head. I am very satisfied with this product! I had tried, tea tree shampoo, anti-fungal shampoo, high-end salon products, and dermatologist prescription shampoo. None worked as well.I highly recommend giving it a try.

Over the years I’ve tried so many different products and shampoos to help with scalp acne, but none ever helped. I even saw a dermatologist who prescribed oral medication. While the meds helped with chest and back acne, they did nothing for my scalp acne. I finally found Ovante Acne Zap shampoo and conditioner. I’ve used almost an entire bottle and so far this has helped more then any other product. My scalp is still slightly itchy with a few little bumps, but nowhere as bad as it used to be. I’ve read reviews on Amazon complaining about the smell, but I don’t mind it and it fades after you shower. It contains a few essential oils that have an earthy, woodsy smell. If you’re used to floral scented shampoos, it might take some getting used to. It’s worth it in the end. I’m nervous because I first found this on Amazon, and today I didn’t see it there. I really hope you continue making this shampoo and conditioner for years to come. Thank you!
