Best personal urinal I've used
This is the second one of these I've purchased, the first was from a different online store but, they are identical other than the covers on this one snapping on just a bit more tightly.Being wheelchair bound, I always need to use a personal urinal and this is the best, easiest to use, one that I have had. One very important thing to do before you use it is to trim the hose back to the proper length. When I got my first one I didn't give it a thought, I just used it with all of the hose attached, and with the hose laying on the floor, below the level of the jug's snout, it allows the urine to back up and overflow from the cup. With the hose trimmed to the proper length, it flows very well and can handle a strong flow very easily, stronger than what any person can put into it. I've tested that theory many times over in the tub when cleaning it, running a powerful stream into it from the spout. With the hose trimmed, pushed on to the cup all the way, and the cover snapped tightly on to the jug, there shouldn't be any leaking or overflowing. The only other thing I would suggest is making sure the locking piece that keeps the hose from coming out of the jug's cover is pushed into the hose as far as you can get it, or at least, far enough in that the liquid isn't dripping into the jug right against the edge of the opening. I've seen that cause some minor leakage when opening it up for dumping, since it will pool there a little bit if the hose isn't just a little deeper inside. It doesn't have to go in very far to prevent this.Highly recommended. The only reason I purchased a second one is because if anything were to happen to it I wouldn't want to be without one this style at all, also to have a second one in the bathroom, so when we have company I can have another one to use in there. I have to keep one at my recliner, which is where I pretty much live. If you're in a situation like me, or have need of a personal urinal for any other reason, you should definitely get one. I can see these being great for truckers, they hold a lot of liquid and the cup is small enough to be pretty unintrusive, so it shouldn't get in the way at all when you're trying to urinate while going down the road. Again, you simply have to be sure the hose isn't longer than necessary, if it's laying down below the inflow point of the jug, you'll have a mess.

Good quality, easy to use.
This is a lifesaver for a male who is not independently mobile but frequently needs to urinate at night, sometimes large amounts. After using it nightly for a year, it is still working well. We keep the large urinal base in a small washtub on the floor near the bed, this is a precaution for overflow and is a place to put the small urinal and tubing in the morning to make carrying it easier. There are a few things to be aware of: there is a small air hole in the lid that attaches the tube to the large urinal base, remember to have this turned to the top(12 o'clock position) or there is a chance it could overflow; be aware of how the tubing is positioned, if there is to many curls in the tube or the base isn't lower than the handheld urinal it can't drain fast enough and could overflow. Cleaning the tubing is a challenge but that may be unavoidable. Overall, this is a well-designed product that makes a big impact on several people's lives.

Great for my elderly father with mobility issues
We got this for my 83 year old father who has limited mobility and has to urinate a lot and often due to BPH and being on lots of diuretics for his heart failure. He uses it at night so he can get more sleep without having to get up every few hours to go to the bathroom. It’s worked great and allowed us all to get a full nights rest without worrying about my father falling in the middle of the night. We did have to cut the tube to adjust the length for easy emptying which was easy to do. There’s no leaking and it’s easy to clean. Also, it took him a little while to learn to how to slightly lift and tilt the urinal while in bed to make sure it empties into the larger container. It’s a little difficult to just place it between his legs in bed and expect it to drain without any intervention. It all relies on gravity. The urinal tube gets a little kinked on the bed and has to go under his leg leading to the container on the floor, so someone has to lift it a little. We tried to set it up so he didn’t have to do anything with a few washcloths under the urinal, but still the tube would get a little bent and urine would overflow from the urinal. But since he’s figured out how to move it every so often, it’s been great

MUCH Better then traditional urinal!!
It holds a good amount of urine although I clean daily. The actual urine receptacle is small and can be held by someone with problematic hands. This is a game changer. No more worries about “dropping the receptacle”. The tube is long enough to be used on a high bed. The cap that snaps onto the urine container is a bit hard to get off but at least I know it won’t come off easily and spill - screw on cap would be better. Clean up is relatively easy - I use dish soap. I wash daily, so no urine smell. A lot less worry about urine spilling urine!!!
