Darkno JL291 Deluxe Fountain Pen Metal Body Medium NIB (Purple)

I ordered this fountain pen because the orange color in the online pics looked interesting. I saw the review after I had ordered & took my chances, by not cancelling the order. When the pen arrived, surprisingly, the color in person is identical to what I viewed online. The pen is not a distinct orange, but more of a coppery orange, just as it looks in the pics. I like the combination of the shiny coppery orange with the shiny gold. The pen has a nice solid feel and so far it writes quite nicely. I’ve had no problems and I really do like the way the pen handles & feels + I like the color combo too. If you like the way the Darkno pen looks online, I’m betting you will like it in person.

Great little pen. Perfect weight, nib writes great with various inks (J. Herbin, Pilot, Diamone, Waterman, Pelican). I've even successfully used shimmer inks in this pen. Color is really more light copper than orange - very nice! No need to spend big money to get a great fountain pen. Wish available in more colors - I try to match ink to barrel color for ease of selection when I write. I would buy one of each color if available.

I have always preferred fountain pens to regular pens. This one is really nice. It is really lightweight, and to be honest I have no complaints so far.

Pic is misleading. I was expecting a radiant orange but instead it’s a very dull light color. Also, it doesn’t even work! It’s really cheap quality. I’m talking 99 cent quality.
