As pictured. Provides a lot of protection. Seems well made. Has two zippered compartments, with one being a smaller one for the cord or whatever. This is such an improvement over the way I was storing it in my laptop backpack, which was in the DVD Optic Drive's original box.

This case perfectly holds my external DVD player! My laptop came without a DVD player, which I didn’t mind as I don’t use a DVD player every day or even very often, so I don’t mind having a plug and play external DVD player for the occasional need! It actually makes the laptop lighter and it was much cheaper without the built in drive!The plug and play DVD player I also bought from Amazon fits perfectly and safely in this case! Both professionally made and designed!I highly recommend! I haven’t had any issues with the zipper- quality appears to be great and it’s extremely easy to use and durability appears to be excellent!

I just bought a new laptop 💻 and it didn't have a cd/dvd player burner. The was the one I needed for school. Came on time and would buy again

This works great to protect my Optical Drive in my backpack

No longer shall I fear damaging my external DVD drive when traveling, for this case provides more than adequate protection! The pouch on the front also provides easy storage for a handful of flash drives so it's truly the greatest means of containing portable storage medium! Now I can watch movies on my laptop while on break at work and when break is over I can safely put my DVD drive in my bag instead of fearing it being damaged!All jokes aside, it's a good case, if you need one this one will work, I did put my usb dvd drive on it, put it in my bag, and jostled it around a bit to see if it worked or not and, yup, dvd drive works fine still. I doubt this case would protect from something ridiculous like doing the whole thing down a flight of granite stairs or running over it with a car, but if you're doing that sort of stuff you better be doing it for a video 'cause there's not really any other reason to have a dvd drive out in a situation where that can happen.Put your drive in the case, put the case in your bag, and be on your way, it's fine.

This case is perfect to store and protect my LG GP65NB60 8X USB 2.0 Ultra Slim Portable DVDRW External Drive. The drive is made of plastic and needs to be stored carefully with good protection. This case has a very effective bubble proof padded interior that is very durable. It holds the drive securely in place with great protection. There is a front zipper pocket for the cable. My drive came with a small cable and that takes up the whole space. A longer cable would not fit. If you use just the pouch then you might be able to also fit a cable inside there with the drive but I do not really recommend that for most of these drives are fragile and you don't want to take anything away from the desired protection. I put the cable in the front pocket first and then slide the drive into the pouch. It is a tight fit but that is good for it ensures the best protection. These drives don't come with any type of storage for them other than the simple box they come in. Getting protective storage is a must and this works perfectly. This is also made very well and you can see it will last a long time. Highly recommend.
