Clever Chef Collapsible Bamboo Apple Shaped Fruit and Veggie Basket

There are MANY people who have commented about the ingenious design of this product and I will add one more to that ongoing comment. I really like the look and it is big enough to fit 6+ regular/large apples in it. You will not be disappointed by this purchase.Some have mentioned a funny smell with the product, but mine did not have a strong smell. There is a small scent, but that is very normal for anything made of wood and protected with stain or polyurethane.The piece is perfect and stores away nicely and could even technically be used as a cutting board if you really wanted too... I wouldn't suggest it, but it is an option.

I bought this as a replacement to an older version of the same stand. That one lasted me years but bottomed out over time. This stand appears to be sturdier and a little more spacious (roomy enough for a bag of apples). Very happy with my purchase!

Bought these as hostess gifts. The boxes They came in were dirty and beat up. They were a useful gift but one came broken. Disappointed.

Beautiful... But no instructions on how to unfold. My Eighty Four year old grandmother won't show me to return it as I got it as a gift, but it's silly not being able to USE the darn thing. Would've been better with SOME kind of instructions

Package arrived as shown; it works great and looks adorable as a centerpiece. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the top of the apple makes it a little hard to maneuver fruits like bananas out of the basket. Other than that, amazing product!

It's very nice, works exactly as you would expect. However, it is kind of small. You won't load this up with lots of apples and bananas. Garlic, limes, small things, go for it.

It has an absolutely terrible odor. I'm actually going to have to send it back. I thought it was clever and does look like the picture but due to the terrible strong odor, you would never want to put produce in it.

I just recently received the apple basket and am using it for receipts that need to be shredded instead of being thrown around here and there. I guess I could have used anything for the receipt slips, but I did like the apple basket to try and so far it is doing a fine job. So I would say that for holding receipts or if you would prefer, apple's, that this basket would work for you too.

I love this item! It not only is large enough (larger than expected) to hold all the fruit but it is a great focal point/point of interest in the kitchen. Love the colour of the bamboo, easy to open up/set-up and it’s convenient how they designed the top of the Apple to also be a handle so it’s easy to move off my kitchen table if needed at dinner time. Great purchase, love this item!

At first, i had a difficulty in opening up properly as the layers would not stand on top of another so the basket was not at all useful being a flat board. Afterwards, I found the correct way to open and it became a basket which shows that the measurements of all layers were with precision. Pretty impressed. But as I have not put fruits in to test, am currently giving a 4 star rating which may reflect a 5 star or 3 star rating in the future.
