Good Hyaluronic Acid with Rose
This is a good hyaluronic acid (HA). It has sodium hyaluronate which tends to be a smaller molecule which leads to better absorption (but the specific molecular weight is not noted on the packaging). I wear HA 24/7 – I reapply while my skin is still damp after washing my face & neck. Then I apply any serums and then a moisturizer. I like this HA but it has rose water so it has a rose scent. I really do not like scent in my face products & especially not in HA. It is a light scent & it is not a synthetic perfume so it is tolerable. But I use this less often because of the rose.Hyaluronic Acid helps your skin hold on to water (a humectant) but it can dry your skin if the skin is not damp when you apply it. You should follow the application of HA with a moisturizer to seal in the hydration.Made in England

Beware if you're in a dry climate
There are 2 important things to keep in mind with skincare ingredients- the Dalton Rule and hydrator vs moisturizer. That said, if used correctly, this is an amazing product. I'll start off with my skin type...I have acne-prone skin that's been sensitized from prescription tretinoin. I also live in a hot, humid tropical climate, and I'm outdoors most of the time, where the sun wreaks havoc on my skin. So, I do anything I can to combat that damage. I use HA products for microneedling, and I've always been happy with Evolve products. They're small batch, clean and natural. I do regular microneedling at home, so I was pleased to try this.First... the Dalton Rule regarding molecular weight... nothing over 500 Daltons can pass through the skin barrier. The skin is just that- a barrier meant to keep things OUT. Think about it, this is why HA products such as fillers, have to be INJECTED, and those injections have to be done by a license provider under sterile conditions. If something were to be small enough to pass through the skin barrier, you'd be at risk for infection. HA is a large molecule, even the smaller ones (relatively speaking) are still large. Let's look at it like a beach ball is too big to fit into a hole in golf. So, you get a soccer ball. Still too big. Even a softball is too large, despite being smaller than the others. This isn't a bad thing. HA is still an excellent ingredient, my deduction of a star is because the molecular weight of the smallest HA isn't stated anywhere I could find. This leads into the second important tidbit...Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, a hydrator. It's NOT a moisturizer. It holds more than it's weight in water because it draws moisture to itself. This moisture has to come from somewhere. If you're in a dry climate or atmosphere, it will draw that moisture from the nearest source- YOUR SKIN. This is fine, you just need to he aware of it so you can adjust your routine accordingly... the ingredients include water and glycerin, but that may not be enough. Be sure to layer a good MOISTURIZER over this. Side note- in the humid climate here, I don't need to layer a moisturizer when I'm outside all day. But when indoors, with AC or heaters, I use an oil, despite being acne-prone. Too much dryness can lead to overproduction of oil. This HA is housed in a dark pump bottle, which keeps it protected from degradation via light and air. Since you're not repeatedly dipping fingers into it, it stays sanitary. So, when used as a microneedling serum, it's got a better chance of passing the skin barrier, and being more effective.I clean my skin with betadine, then apply this serum right before microneedling, and again just as I finish. I also wear this under my moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated. The serum spreads easily, doesn't feel greasy or sticky. It works well with my other products.I took off a star due to not being able to locate a mention of molecular weight. However, I do trust Evolve's quality due to my previous experiences with the brand. This serum is reasonably priced, and am excellent product if you know how to use it in your environment.

Hydrating, soothing and plumping
This Evolve Hyaluronic acid serum is lightweight and it absorbs super quickly. It has a very light rose fragrance that’s not overpowering. The key ingredients in this formula is:-Hyaluronic acid(Hydrating, promotes collagen production , boosts elasticity, reduces fine lines and wrinkles)-Aloe Vera(Moisturizes, nourishes, treats acne, eczema and sunburn)-Rose water(Hydrates, reduces redness, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, prevents fine lines and wrinkles)-Pomegranate fruit extract(Prevents sun damage, reduces acne, promotes collagen production, antioxidant, reduces fine lines and wrinkles)This formula is meant to hydrate, plump and reduce the appearance of aging on your skin. From my experience, it did just that. It really hydrated and plumped my skin. My skin feels very firm and supple every time I’ve used this serum so far. However, I would suggest that you don’t put facial oils over this serum. I did the first time and I had big gel globs that formed as I massaged my face. I don’t think this serum goes well with facial oils. It didn’t go with the one I used anyways. Other than that, I really like this serum!

Evolve Hyaluronic Acid 200 Serum
This is a hyaluronic acid serum from Evolve Organic Beauty. The '200' refers to 200mg of concentrated low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid per bottle, not per application.HA works by hydrating from within, which results in plumping of skin. It's the plumping that reduces fine lines and wrinkles. I've actually always found that to be a bit of a marketing scheme because the HA is drawing moisture to itself from within your skin to create this temporary hydration. This isn't a moisturizing serum; it is a hydrating serum.I find that the product does work as advertised for a temporary reduction in fine lines.

This is it!
If you need to choose one product that is, hands down, the best for your face it's hyaluronic acid. I've seen lotions, potions and creams that promise result and found a few good, most merely OK, some dangerous. Hyaluronic acid is the work horse of beauty products. This Evolve brand comes in a pump jar and has a slight aroma of roses. it's so pleasant. And you only need a tiny dab, massaged in your face to get results.
