This is hands down the best tasting beef stick I have ever had, the spice is amazing and it has real pieces of ghost pepper in it. Unlike some other competitors this is not dry but not wet, they found the perfect spot to not have it dry out your mouth and not be too wet to eliminate all the amazing flavors. Only downside is that it's a little pricy but the ammoumt of meat is double slim jims minimum. Well worth the money spent I just wish they would last longer😂

The heat wasn't as intense as I thought it would be. That being said, as a chili head it might not really be designed that way. Others say it's hot for them. I thought the taste was great, it's a clean snack with very few additives. The macros are good in my opinion. It has a good snap and good texture. I went to their website after buying here, to buy in bulk to save a few dollars.

You want to make the outer layer crispy. They come out hotter and very tasty. They are already very good but this makes them so much better IMO. 10/10

Taste is good but it's not even spicy, I'd say it's as hot as a hot pepper ring.

UPDATE (AUG 2023): Still love these but not from Amazon - after about 6 re-orders, they are consistently old and dried out. Also very overpriced. I found these in a local grocery store (Aldi) for significantly less money and much better quality (freshness). ORIGINAL REVIEW I've spent a lot of money on Amazon ordering beef sticks, trying to find one that is actually spicy. It has cost me quite a bit because I can't sample them (maybe you're in the same boat). I think I've come to the end of my search though. Spice: These have good spice (I'd call them medium), the kind that you can feel on the back of your throat and lingers for a bit, the way a habenero pepper will. I could care less if its actually a ghost pepper in them or not, the point is these say spicy and they actually are. Flavor: These sticks fall on the "bit of a tang" side, probably from some type of vinegar in the ingredients. Not in an obnoxious way - I'd say they're pretty good. Texture: Not much chew from the skin, on the soft side and not oily. Price: Well, they're pricey. I'd buy them again though (and will). Overall, best I've found yet.

This was a gift and he was THRILLED with the flavor. So often food tagged with Ghost Pepper flavor, it's just "HOT" without the true flavor. These got 2 thumbs up for the flavor throughout with that kick of Ghost Pepper that didn't overpower the meat stick. They were such a huge hit we WILL be ordering more of these!!

It’s delicious but definitely not spicy as it should be for being made with ghost peppers. Giving it five stars on the flavor not the level of spice

love beef sticks: 1. great flavor 2. nice size: I do like them a little bigger for more of a bite but still good 3. good heat. I wish a little hotter, but still good. not often do you get heat with flavor... this does give both.
