17inch Stand Silent for Notebook Fan with Luxury Gold Color Laptop Cooling Pad

It is indeed quiet. But sort of weak fan power. Cools ok, but not great.

I have had this for about 2 months now and it works just as described. It fits perfectly on my 14 by 10.5 inch laptop and it's very light. It literally works by connecting the usb to usb wire (provided) and clicking it on. There's the blue light that comes on that some people don't seem to like, however, I don't find it impedes vision in any way, in fact it's kind of 'neat'. I haven't had the laptop overheat and switch off on me since using it, and I guess it's because of the cooling factor, but in any case, the fans are still going to help your computer. This thing has 2 large fans and they really are very silent. I was put off by the 'golden' colour originally, thought it might be too garish, but in fact, it's not a striking gold (although that's subjective) and most of it is covered by the laptop anyway. Quality wise, I don't have the knowledge or experience to compare this to other similar devices, but it's seems to be average-good quality. Overall, seems to do the trick and so far, it's still working.FYI: when i bought this product 2 months or so ago, also from nightwish fashion, it was sold for $29, about £20 less than it is today (5th sep, 2015); not sure why they hiked up the price so much.

Great size, love the bright color and the blue light. Quiet and seemed very durable but unfortunately it didn't last 4 months. It has a short in it and I can no longer return it or ask for a replacement.

I just received mine, and I am thrilled with it! I have a laptop with an absurdly loud fan (so loud that my co-workers have asked me to mute my microphone when we're on conference calls and I'm not speaking), and it cycles on and off CONSTANTLY. It is SO annoying when I'm sitting here working, listening to my pleasant, peaceful music, and this thing is turning on this stupid fan all the time - really, every couple of minutes it comes on for some period of time, shuts off, and then comes right back on in just a minute or two - all day long! Anyway, I hooked up my new "17inch Stand Silent for Notebooks Fan with Luxury Gold Color Laptop Cooling Pad" - and my notebook has not turned on its fan AT ALL - and it's been over an hour. I am totally thrilled with that! ... and I can't even hear the Laptop Cooling Pad's fans at all! Love it! ... does exactly what I wanted. ... and I know it is better for my notebook computer too. Awesome! :)

This fan/stand for my notebook is beautiful and functional. So happy I found it on Amazon and at such a great price.
