I know some people don't like this type of crimping method, but sometimes you need a handheld crimping tool to work in close quarters. This tool works great!!! I was working with stiff 6 gauge wire yesterday, wiring a battery box to my air compressor. I started out using a larger crimping tool that you really need to use on a bench and had to re-crimp both positive and negative terminals lug connectors twice. With the iCrimp hand held crimper I was able to really fit my wiring and terminals more easily and get the ends crimped the first time without having to cut and re-crimp. Thank you!!!

I bought this $30 crimper to crimp #6 or #8 barrel lugs for motor terms. Gets the job done for $110 less than a Greenlee. But the crimp marks aren't as pretty as a Greenlee and the handle flexes so I could see it breaking down the road. But I've done probably 100 barrel lug crimps and still works. It's a good short term tool.

These are awesome for the smaller cable crimp job.

Crimping a 4 GA battery and ground cable was a breeze with this crimper.

Twists when crimping a terminal. I bolted a piece of metal to the back side so the die stays straight and it crimps really good after modifying it.

This thing is a winner! exceeded my expectations. got it just in time to crimp my 6 gauge ring terminals on my ground wires for Ham Radio antenna/lightning arrestors. very solid crimpers. you simply spin the jaws to select the size you want.great!
