Kevin Bacon's Hoof Dressing - 1 Litre - Original

My farrier recommended Kevin Bacon hoof dressing for my thoroughbred that has bad feet. The changing wet then dry weather with hard ground and his hooves were dry and cracking. When he lost shoes he would break off hoof. After using this dressing on hooves for 2 weeks there was a visible difference. The first year I used it in the summer only when they were very dry. This year I started late winter to combat the wet spring when he stands in mud a lot at the gate and hay. It made a huge difference in his hoof quality. It seals against the wet and mud and conditions the hoof. This is the only hoof product I use now. Be aware that this product is made with animal fat and it will draw flies to the area so be sure to apply fly after using

so far impressed! absorbs and stays on a l long time more water proof then most wasn't able to find it in the tack shops where i live. however applying with a brush or sponge won't work i just use my fingers it very thick, probably why it works so well.

Came faster than promised. Great because I was nearly out and the product has been helping my 34 year old gelding, who has suffered much through our current wet weather.

My farrier recommended this hoof dressing and I must admit it did make a difference. I think it’s most effective if applied prior to turnout as it creates a moisture barrier so the hooves aren’t going from the wet dew to the dry stalls every day.

My farrier highly recommended this product. It arrived quickly, but damaged and had leaked all over the box. I attempted to contact the company twice and did not get a response.

My farrier recommended this for my mare as her hooves were taking a beating with wet/dry changes in FL. I’ve used other pricey brands, but this seems to be helping more. My mare also approves of the smell lol-she always wants to sniff the bucket so must be tempting.

I am very happy with this product I was using something different but it was not working the hood was so dried thanks god I found this product
