One Powerful Book
Pastor John Bevere hits it straight on. Intimidation is one of the devil's most subtle tools, yet, so powerful too. I'm about 2/3 of the way through the book, and so far, his teaching is spot-on, straight to the point, and powerful. I would recommend this book to any one who is Christian, especially if you're feeling intimidated by others around you.

THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!!
I was painting at my son’s house and he was hearing a podcast form Pastor John Bevere, while painting and listening, I was being bless by the teaching and when I asked my son the title he told me “Breaking intimidation.” Went home and got it on my kindle app. This book made me laugh, cry and I became angry with myself because this was ME, the thing that I WAS struggling with in my walk with the Lord. I have learned so much from this book, that people are telling me, “Jimmy, there is something different about you, what happen?” I would tell them, “in the name of Jesus I broke the spirit of intimidation that was oppressing me for so long!!” You will feel that someone spoke with Pastor Bevere about your life. Great book, great teaching!!! I would recommend this highly!!!

A SOVEREIGN GIFT TO THE SAINTS
Every believer should read this book, at least once or twice. Then, read The Awe of God, preferably with your pastor and church. You will be blessed!

A good breakdown of what indimitation is
Was helpful in helping me to realize that I needed to walk in my authority as a Child of God. By this I don't mean brash and rashly. But throughout my 52 years I had let myself become the person who always wanted all to be happy.. nothing wrong with that except for when you know that the Holy Spirit is telling you it's wrong. It showed me that there were idols I sought to please before My Heavenly Father. We allow the enemy to steal our authority and then boy is it hard (not impossible) to regain. As Paul told Timothy "stir up the gift inside of you"

Review of Breaking Intimidation...
This book is deserving of the 5 stars I gave it.It is a much needed book to encourage those who are frequently intimidated in their own families, as well as those in the workplaces. In some societies, although one recognizes the need to break intimidation, it isnt easy to take a firm stand against the parents when one is young and dependent upon them. In such cases, I feel the author could cite cases where prayer has helped such persons facing intimidation. Where it is possible to quit the job, then do so. But how many can do this in the face of scarcity of jobs nowadays? Esp when there are young mouths to feed. Much wisdom is needed for us to exercise bold faith. On the whole, I have benefitted from Bevere's insights given in the book.
