The original bulbs that came with the light fixture we put in our hallway are the clear edison bulbs that look just like these, but clear. They were so BRIGHT in the hallway that it was distracting. I purchased these golden bulbs to tone it down in the hallway. MUCH BETTER and so much nicer for the ambience. I took the clear bulbs and put them in the bathroom, because the gold ones came with the bath fixture, and they would have been too dim. The switch to the clear bulbs in the bath work just wonderfully and light the bathroom they way you want a bath to be lit. Both are dimmable light bulbs and fixtures; however, I am not a fan of dimmers.

I purchased these incandescent bulbs to replace similar LED bulbs in two wall sconces beside the bed. Not only do they look more authentic but they can be dimmed much lower than the LED for just the right amount of light. Also, there is no flicker as with the LED bulbs.

The bulbs are the standard size and will work fine. I do like the amber glow which will set off the room more so than decorative bulbs with white. You'll also like the multi filament design which really pop. The price of these same bulbs in the hardware store is double so it's a all around good deal.

The first box had 4 out of 6 already broken. I bought these on a lightening deal or I would not of bothered taking a chance on a replacement set.The replacement set was fine with no broken ones at all though.so I guess the first box got drop kicked through the warehouse or something.

ST58 is super dark amber. Darker than the vintage spiral bulbs i bought from same amazon storez

These are really beautiful. But one of the bulbs immediately burned out as soon as it was lit. Very disappointing because now we do not have a complete replacement set. I'm not returning because they are so pretty. But be aware that they are not sturdy in any way.

Exactly what I was hoping for. As far as "brightness".... my high rating was more regarding the perfect lighting... I had some others there, same style but LED, and it was way too bright. This is perfect for the space it's in.

Perfect bulb for this cage light. This is my favorite reading lamp. The bulbs can get a little warm after awhile, if you read as much as I do. Maybe that's a good thing in that out will make you take a break and shut the light off a bit. Very warm amber lighting.
