Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  After tried a few times, I was able to seal leftover prosciutto in a bag. I did not read the instructions, cos it’s quite easy and intuitive to navigate. Here is what I’d like to share:- To close the cover properly, press both sides HARD till you hear a click sound，the buttons on both sides will pop out.- The cover is see-through, just insert the bag a little. Too much will block the air hole.- I used the vacuum/seal option in middle. The seal light will turn on and off by itself. The vacuum is done pretty fast even though the action will continue for a while. You can stop it and go straight to the next step by pressing the seal button.- The video got compressed after uploading. The actual process takes longer than it appears in video.

Below was my original review. After hearing from the manufacturer after they read my negative review they provided a video showing how the device works. It works fine but the locking function is tricky - after inserting the bag to be sealed you have to close one side first and make sure you hear TWO CLICKS. A single click does NOT really lock it. Once you do one side repeat on the other side - again make sure there are TWO CLICKS. If it is closed in this manner the vacuum sealer works perfectlyWhile this device is not broken as it seals the bottom of new bags and the vacuum function partially works it does not complete the vac and seal process(even when using the bags included with the device). The device just keeps sucking and sucking and never removes all (or even MOST) of the air and then will NOT seal the bag closed.Buy the Foodsaver device as I had that before and it worked perfectly the first time EVERY TIME. My mistake as I should have purchased the Foodsaver instead of this crap. I will be buying the Foodsaver now. It may be a bit more expensive but it never failed me once.

Nice unit that fits in my kitchen drawers (3-1/2") along with my sous vide unit. I love that you can see the bag in the vacuum chamber as well. Nice feature I didn't know you could do is the option to just use the VAC button without auto sealing. I used this for stubborn foods that needed more time to VAC and when I wanted to seal I just pressed the seal button.

So far it works great. The vac only option is great because on other food savers that have the vac/seal option only, most of the time it doesn’t suck to a complete vacuum. It feels better built and better quality than most others. I returned a more expensive nutrichef model and bought this based on the reviews. I’d recommend this over any other home food saver under 200 dollars.

I saw this and on the recommendation of a friend, purchased immediately. I end up tossing out so much food since it goes bad, wilts, gets moldy etc. this has saved alot. I made a whole batch of chicken tenders and knew I could only use a few - popped the rest in a bag, vacuum sealed and put them in the freezer for use at a later date. Amazing and I highly recommend if you have ever thrown out food for not being fresh.Money well spent

I love this product! I usually go to Costco 1X a month, and buy all my meat, fish, etc. when I get home I divide it up and put it in the freezer. I got so tired of ice crystals forming on my meat. Now that I have Top Prime Food Sealer, it’s a thing of the past. My mom has another brand, and it’s so complicated to work, she very rarely uses it. Not with Top Prime. It’s easy to use, and works beautifully. Glad I chose it.

So far this product exceeds my expectations. I have only just now taken it out if the box and put up a head of cabbage. Works like a charm...would most definitely recommend it to my friends. Will add more after I do my next batch of corn as that will be a heavy duty sealing job and see how it holds up.

I bought this as an alternative to setting up my larger vacuum sealer every time I needed to do a small job. The suction of this unit is outstanding and it seals as designed. It's also pretty straight forward in operation. One negative is the closing/locking mechanism. It takes considerable pressure to lock it down and it seems to me that it would eventually wear out/break. Since I'm not planning on using this for mass amounts of vacuum sealing; it's no big deal. Also, the function buttons are located on the right end, so I end up hitting the buttons while trying to close the lid on that side. This doesn't really cause any issues; it's more of an irritation. But when all is said and done, it does a great job of removing air from the bag and seals as designed, so I feel this is a solid 4 star buy of a budget-priced vacuum sealer that might get used once or twice a week.
