Do you need a ball for kava if you have an infuser?

For powdered kava you need a very fine mesh so that you don't get powder in your drink. I don't think an infuser would have a fine enough mesh.

About how much Kava can you fill without overflowing or clogging?

The manufacturer says two tablespoons max, which is enough to fill one half of the ball. If you want to use more than 2 tbsp, then you can use two balls in the same shaker.

Is there a way to replace the micron mesh filter. The mesh on my ball got torn up after only a month.
