I read a good chunk of this text while preparing for my comprehensive exams. Dr. Bailey put in considerable effort to make the materials and difficult concepts accessible to students and readers with a basic (high school) background in statistics and maths. I sure have never read a proper college econometrics text that uses conversational language, but this one does. I had to email the author to thank him for this goated book. Absolutely worth it to buy and keep as a reference resource.
