SINK DRAIN PROTECTOR AND PLUG, SIMPLE INSTALL
This was recommended to me by a Plumber. Take the one that comes with the vanity sink drain, unhook the lever under sink and remove the existing plug that is operated by the lever behind your faucet to move it up and down.A standard drain size comes already on the new plug. If that does not fit, they supply 2 other sizes to switch out.Just push it down into the Drain and you are good to go. Catches all the hair and all debris which can be popped out and cleaned whenever needed. I ordered the one with the enclosed Black Plug which I love. No more jewelry etc. going down the drain !This a little, inexpensive gadget that is worth a fortune in Plumber bills, but can be installed by you for free !!!!

Affordable, effective hair catcher. Say goodbye to your drain snake!
My bathroom sinks always seems to be clogged. I tried using drain hair catchers, but they weren’t very effective and just seemed too slightly delay the clogs from forming. I found myself having to snake the drains every few months, which was absolutely disgusting, time consuming and inconvenient.. So, I decided to give the Sink Shroom a try. Consider me a complete devotee! Since purchasing it several months ago, I have not had to snake the drain it’s in once! It was very easy to install, and it’s equally easy to remove and clean. I only have to clean it every month or two, and it takes about two minutes to clean, so much faster than snaking the drain. It must catch every single hair that flows past it, or else my sink definitely would’ve clogged by now! It is very durable and sturdy. It’s a great value for the money. I recommend using them with a drain hair catcher, as that further decreases your chance if clogs and will also prevent large clumps of toothpaste or shaving cream from going down the drain.

Gets the job done affordably!
Does exactly what I needed it to! I recently moved into a new place that has no stopper in the sink drain. I accidentally knocked my toothbrush cover down the drain once, and the reality of needing to take the p trap apart to get a minuscule plastic toothbrush cover was doable but annoying. I needed to prevent anything of the sort from happening again. I searched the interwebs for the affordable answer to my needs and in came the SinkShroom! It’s affordable but feels like great quality right out of the package. It seems sturdy, fits well, and was easy to install. It doesn’t seem to negatively affect water flow, looks nice enough, and is easy to remove when needed. I’m considering buying another for the lesser used bathroom in the home!

Easy to Use (Review includes Installation Instructions)
The 'Shroom products are all very good and this is no exception. Since it is stainless steel, it doesn't get stained or as nasty as the other version. It is easy to install and catches hair on the rubber gasket making it very easy to clean by simply pulling it out and wiping it off. It is a very simple but effective product that I highly recommend. If you are unsure how to remove your sink drain stopper:1) Place the edge of a towel under the stopper inside the sink. Be careful to use something large enough that it will not go down the drain. This will make removal of the sink stopper easier.2) Under the sink beneath the faucet, you will see a thin metal rod coming down. This lift rod is the mechanism that moves your drain stopper up and down. The lift rod is connected to a horizontal rod called the pivot rod located near the top of the drain assembly. The pivot rod is attached to the bottom of the sink stopper inside the drain.3) The lift rod is typically connected to the pivot rod by either a small clamp with a thumb screw or a V-shaped strip of metal with holes in it, known as a spring clamp. Either unscrew the thumb screw or squeeze the spring clamp until you can remove it from the pivot rod. Once removed, the lift rod will not be attached to anything and you should be able to remove the stopper from the sink by wiggling it a bit to free it from the pivot rod. (Note: if you did not put something under the stopper as indicated in step one, the stopper will be flush with the drain and you may have to pry the stopper up to remove it)4) Now check that the rubber gasket attached to the bottom of the Sink Shroom is the same width as your drain. If not use another of the other provided gaskets so it fits snuggly in the drain. That's it!
