I absolutely love this set! I love the utility and design of the Matt and have found that it’s so easy for cutting on top of and measuring for different craft designs. The X-Acto knife is really comfortable and easy to use. The tips fit on really easily and are safely stored in the package. The exact amount has a lot of different options of sizes and I ended up getting a smaller one just so it was easier to store.

Great little kit! Extra blades, nice little mat - terrific price point. They’re as accurate as they can be and the blades cut well. Used for some EVA foam for a costume and couldn’t be happier. They’re as comfortable as your standard Exacto knife.

Well, it works — but if you expect heavy use, you’ll need a heavier-duty setup. The blades are sharp, but very flexible, so you have to manage your cuts with extra attention. If you’re cutting 6mm foam board, for instance, the blade might curve within the board if you don’t use excellent technique (which you should do, of course). The real issue is that the screw-in mount unscrews itself. You’ll notice a wobble when it’s time to retighten it. The mat is thinner than expected, but it’s a problem only if it’s the single piece of protection you’re using and you manage to cut through it, which seems unlikely. I place the mat on cardboard or foam board for more protection.

Really good! I went to many hardware and painting supplies stores, and this was the best one in price and usability for a collage project. The mat is very sturdy and thick, and the blades are working great. Very easy to use. I use the bigger yellow blade for cutting bigger things, and the smaller blades for details, and they both have good grip.

Such a nice kit. Everything you need to get started.

Perfect for what i needed!

All seems good. The cutting mat is tiny, the ruler is also small, and marked in metric only. But my main abjection is the use of exacto in the title. It isn’t that brand. Wonder how long they can get away with it.
