I am a fairly large guy, usually hovering around 280 ish. Had ankle surgery and had an Antigua vacation planned. Plugged these guys on the crutches and in the water I went. Maybe 20 yards to the floating ring. Kept me from sinking in the wet sand. Worked equally as well crossing the dry sand! Thought I was going to be a room hobbit but these saved the trip! Durable and easy to install. A bit harder to remove, but that is a good thing. They seem expensive, but there isn't another product on the market that fills this need better. Saved vacation for me. If you are on no or reduced weight bearing and are going to a beach, get these! They work!

Got this to enjoy a day out on a beach with co-workers. Originally, I had planned to reserve a beach wheelchair (some California beaches offer free rental in exchange for your ID) but the beach that day was more packed than usual, and I decided an alternative was needed. Amazon prime allowed me to get them right away :)I had been using regular crutch tips already, but was concerned of the crutches sinking into the sand and possibly losing my balance. These devices proved great and easy to use, and they definitely helped me have a steady "walk". There were no problems attaching them at all. I had planned on removing them once I was on the flat boardwalk, but they turned out to be just as good as on the sand. I would even venture to say they are better than the tips that come along with the crutches. I kept these on instead.After a weekend's use, I can say I definitely appreciated the wider base that allows better stability. It impressed the physical therapist that I went to so much, that she asked if she could take a pic of it (she took a shot of my Amazon orded). The wider base also means they dont fall easily to the side.

I love this cane adapter for the sand! I was having to many issues trying to walk on the beach that I gave up going for a long time. With the pandemic I had to figure out a way to do my aquatic physical therapy since the rehab center is out of the question . With the beach the only option I went on an internet search for a beach cane and I found this sandpad. After three trips to the beach I can say it is an amazing product and works so well! I feel safe to walk on the beach again with my cane! I highly recommend for canes crunches and walking sticks!Pros: works so well and can be used in and out of water!!!Very sturdy and well made.Cons: a little heavier then I would like. The size adapter is just a strip of tape. It works lol but then you can’t switch tips anymore.

This product works great and enabled me to negotiate very deep, loose sand. Product is advertised for use with 3/4" to 1" cane tip, with a piece of tape for use with a 3/4" cane. I tried unsuccessfully to locate a 1" cane and had to purchase a 3/4". The tape was not sufficient for a snug fit, so I wrapped the cane in duct tape. The issue here is, the sand pad is designed for use with a crutch. The company needs to spring for a second mold, sized to a 3/4" cane. After paying 27.95 + 9.40 shipping = 37.35, I was not happy having to wrap duct tape to make it fit, plus now I have sand stuck to the sticky duct tape. Hence, a one star deduction to 4 stars.

I bought this to use at the beach and I’m so glad I had it. It definitely helped me Walk through the sand. Now that I’m home, I find that it helps me walking in the yard better Then my regular cane.

I bought these and pads for a trip to the beach following Achilles tendon repair surgery. I was very skeptical that they would work, but they were perfect! I was fully non-weight bearing on my injured leg and was able to walk on sand, even very soft sand, with no problems. After returning to depressing Ohio, I found that these are also great for snow and ice. Everywhere I go, I am asked about these pads. I tell everyone how much I love them! Absolutely worth the price! The material is very strong and they fit securely on the crutches. Not sure I can take them off, in fact. They don't really stand on their own, as it states, but I promise you won't care about that. These were a great purchase.

I had given up ever thinking I could make it down to the beach ever again because of mobility issues, but with the use of two canes and these sand pads, I was able to have the best time ever going to the beach and being with friends. I just couldn't believe it, but I walked with little effort on the sand and was quite stable! And they also help disperse weight more evenly on regular train, helping me feel less vulnerable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me feel like the self I used to be.

My daughter fractured her tibia right before spring break. She would end up on crutches for her trip to Mexico. There was no way she was going to be able to use the beach, until we found these! She said they worked like magic and enabled her to enjoy the beach. They are a bit heavy but so worth it! Hopefully she won’t need them again!
