Great Protection Plan worth buying. Will continue to buy ASURION Plans!Three years ago my TV would just go black and then come back on. ASURION was called, a reliable tech came and repaired it very quickly. After 3 years, the same TV turned on and showed a purple picture. ASURION again to the rescue. The tech replaced boards without success and ASURION deemed it unrepairable and actually gave us a FULL REFUND on the TV. NO SCAMS, JUST HONEST plan worth buying. This is a time when our ecomony is causing our funds to not go far, so this refund is very much appreciated.

I purchased this insurance in April of 2019 to cover a new Samsung 4K TV. Several weeks ago I noticed a red line running from top to bottom on the TV. I called Asurion and they sent a TV repairman over within 2 days. The repairman said that the TV was not repairable and he would alert Asurion. I received an email two days later from Asurion stating that they are sending me a check for the full amount I paid for the TV. Absolutely worth the money I paid for this insurance plan! The cost of the insurance policy to cover my investment was 100% worth it! I would buy this insurance again for every TV I purchased from Amazon! Thank you Asurion for keeping your word! No hidden bait and switch, no refurbished TV just the full purchase price refunded back to me!

they helped me get a refund on my tv only minor problem that was taken care of quickly and got a check for my tv glad to have had insurance on set would get it on next tv well worth it service staff was very helpful and had no problem contacting them thank you

Finally resolved
This was a long process. The assigned repair person did not communicate. Asurion representative did not return a promised phone call. It took many phone calls and a lot of my time to finally get a good outcome. This was for a 3 year old big screen Samsung TV. After more than a month, I received a check because the necessary parts were not available for a repair. So, in the end I was satisfied, but I think it took too long. That said, I would probably purchase a warranty from them again knowing it eventually was solved.

Excellent customer service
I bought the plan as an afterthought when buying a Samsung smart TV, and I’m glad I did! A spot appeared on my TV, I contacted them, and a few days later a service man came over. He took the set back to his shop where it was found to be unserviceable. That day, I was contacted by Asurion and told that I was being sent a check for the purchase price of the TV. I have received it and applied it to a new set. As I said, great customer service!
