The plug fittings that came with this don't fit straight into UK plugs. I tried with a 1amp shaver adapter plug which just fused. So had to purchase a new shaver adapter and an adapter which took this item. A 5amp adapter was available at B&Q for just under £3. The sealer heated quick but you have to be very quick when sealing the bags otherwise it just burns a hole through. Found you needed to turn off to get the better results as there seems to be no regulator on it. It takes time and patience to get this just right. I had an old battery model before which was slower so this takes a bit of getting used to.

Was looking forward to using this item. However, no UK plug enclosed. Returning.

This item does not have a UK plug, but is shipped with an UK-EU adaptor, which is unfused. This is illegal in the UK as it breaks electrical standards.

Useless, not suitable for this purpose.

This product brings a lot of convenience to life, it is very small, convenient to store, the color is also my favorite, no longer worry about eating potato chips not crisp.
