HELLA D2S 5000 K Xenon Performance Bulb, (85V, 35W)

I was looking at spending $97 for a similar bulb from the auto part store until I decided to check Amazon. This appeared to be identical to the factory bulb so I figured I’d give it a try. Fit perfect in my 2013 Subaru Wrx. Is nearly identical to the brightness and color of the original one from the other side (I think it’s only different because the other side is 11 years old). Perfect product.

First off they fit perfect . Installed these in my 1999 Porsche 996 C4 bi-xenon headlights . The 5000k is a nice bright white with excellent cut off . Hopefully they last but so far very happy with them .

In the pictures you can see a comparison between the old osram bulbs and the new hella bulbs in a 2006 mercedes e350. I have installed very expensive osram cbi/cbb bulbs in other hid equipped vehicles and tbh these are close enough that I would not hesitate to purchase again. Great value. Color and brightness are tough to tell in cell phone pictures, but obviously the blue-er tinged bulbs are the hellas. They look less blue in real life. Nice bright white for an oem+ look. Great performance. Would recommend. Excellent VALUE!

I liked the 5000K color. But it lasted only 3 months. Don't like it that much.

These fit my 2005 Range Rover. No complaints, good price, quality bulb. Went to NAPA and they wanted something crazy like $98 for a single replacement bulb of their own brand.

I'm very pleased with these. The light quality and the color temp are great. I wanted a *slightly* bluer bulb than the factory 4300k bulbs after one of the factory bulbs started blinking out. Initially these would shut down randomly and come back on right away. It was disconcerting. After putting some hours on them, this stopped. Not 100% sure it was the bulbs, but it seems so. They don't flicker or shut down and fire back up anymore. Don't know why they did this, but now that they have stopped I'm really happy with them. If they didn't do that initially, they would have gotten 5 stars.

I can't believe how dim this bulb is. It's probably dimmer than the stock HID.

I have a HID projector retrofit on my 2011 FJ Cruiser. I work at night so I need good lighting for night time driving. Lately I noticed the Morimoto bulbs were dimming and were not as bright as before this was a 2nd pair. I wanted a new D2S Bulb and saw these by Hella. I used to have Hella Halogen lights in the 90s. So I said why not let’s give Hella a try. The light is clean and bright . Shows off the road a lot better than the previous Morimoto bulbs. I am happy with this purchase make sure you wear gloves when installing do not put finger prints on the bulbs themselves. For longevity that will be in a update review. Hopefully they will last a while.

Seems to be like a bright, decent quality bulb. Bright white with a really slight tinge of blue, but not much really. Remains to be seen how long it will hold up, but I've heard mostly good things about Hella. A comparable bulb goes for another $25-30, at least at any retail stores I checked near me.

Not good. 1 bulb failed after 2 months. Get something else
